MANY bridges replaced/upgraded, but there's still around a dozen+ old-style ones in yet. I will get them all eventually.
MANY AI routes updated / FIXED.
NEW Air strip for landing and takeoff with hangars, full done in some new concrete textures that I made just for this map (off the old textures, so they should be consistent with other concrete). There will be A LOT MORE to this island in the next beta - some buildings and making it resemble a military base, not just an over-guarded airport with no main building. It's been too long since the last beta (two months + due to c: drive data loss), so I cut my losses and squared this away in the mean time.
The runways (two of them adjacent) are 1.35 miles long each, from paved end to paved end. The markings are spaced as per the wiki on runways and the markings should be accurate enough to know where to land. There's no runway numbers yet, they'll be in as more gets done at the base there. The runways are about 65 meters wide from paved edge to paved edge, so you should have plenty of room (that's just over 200 feet, about 210 feet). Taxi-ways are about two-thirds that width, so again, PLENTY of room there, and there's absolutely nothing to tear your wings off, except the hangars themselves.
75% of my progress at the time of my data loss incident on 12/28/2018 was backed up - the only thing that didn't make it back yet is the homogenized mall object (parking lot and mall building was made to be one object, that was lost, mall is still there and functional though), and I haven't synced up the new Collector road kit yet that I made (which was backed up, decided not to add it back yet as it's not professional / complete enough yet - soon though). I will be working on these in the next few weeks so they should be done enough by the next beta as they were several days of work minimum, I'd like to get them done.
FIXED traction on the cloverleaf by where the base is now, all the on/off ramps had gravel traction due to an oversight on my part. AI should work great here BUT I haven't tested it, let me know how it goes please.
NEW sunken station as I mentioned last month, it's much nicer now AND I even got the dirt mask texture (not everything is clean and new) working 100% last night.
BRIDGE objects were further optimized. Over-exposure on some things is much less now as I adjusted the sun settings in the map. I've got to turn off the fog but I think there's a bug in the editor preventing some of this. I will mess more with this later and provide instructions to change it (at your discretion), in the near future.
TWO NEW SCHOOLS are in the map, while largely similar, one's a bit longer than the other one, and the grounds for both are custom-designed, one even has a huge stairway for you to enjoy crashing up and down. Try not to land on TOP of the railing or your car could fall through/into it - but bumping into the side of it should be fine.
SNORKEL / JEEPING adventure area, if you want to give your car a car wash the easy way, enjoy the shallow water and sand bars out between the HEH island (where the base is getting built) and the mainland area. Lots of shallow water, much of it a car can be driven through, but not all. Might make a good circuit course if you put AI on it and some course markings for SUV's and Jeeps or even pickups. Likely you can get a Pessima through most or all of it. Just enjoy it as you wish out here as there's no clear course out here yet. There's a good 1~2+ square miles of this stuff in varying depths of water so you surely won't miss it. The long new bridge to the island goes over this area, so do sight-see and you're sure not to miss it.
Some bugs yet: OF course it's not done yet, night driving still looks awful in the city, more will come on this later. Some of the houses by one of the new school have a transparency bug that's been in a while (and their normals are a bit goofy), this will be amended later. Some of the normals (angle light hits the surface) are a bit off, again, this will be amended later when I do the above. Might be a few goofed up AI paths around the map, but I fixed most of them - let me know if the AI isn't working right somewhere.
A section of median barrier is missing from the new cloverleaf I redid in November (by the island) to the next exit up, I don't know what happened, but it's been missing a while. I will eventually get it back when I do more around there. Enjoy the wide drifting area for now though.

Possible sound stage improvements (because it has none).
