Arcadian Live
“It looks like the Progenitor of Chaos is having a good time messing with The Winter Wolf as well,” Mikaela says while chuckling at the sight of Wolf repeatedly trying to clear the sixth floor only to fail over and over again when the timer runs out. Making the audience watching alongside him flood the viewing room with laughter.
He spent three months trying to clear the first five floors, only to find a notification appearing after entering the six hundred and ninety sixth floor telling him that the reset will now be for every floor instead of every five floors.
“As a lot of gamers probably understand, this is one of the most infuriating things to deal with in a dungeon,” Mikaela continues amidst the audience’s laughter. “Making progress deep into a dungeon, only for all of your progress to be erased and you to be reset back to the start. Over and over again. All without knowing when the reset will take place.” His smile grows wider when he sees Wolf getting reset again. “Something like this doesn’t happen in regular dungeons, and the chaos variant energy must be infuriating to deal with as well. So I almost pity The Winter Wolf this time.”
Of course, Mikaela says almost because it’s entertaining to see. Which makes for great content in his livestream.
Especially when he knows that these floors aren’t particularly dangerous for The Winter Wolf.
He’s also heard rumors that the Progenitor of Chaos cares deeply for The Winter Wolf. So part of him doubts that she will let him die. At least not until he reaches the Centurion Boss floor.
Since she’s still a Progenitor, he doesn’t expect her to avoid killing him just because she seems to like him. But Mikaela at least believes she will still test him.
There have been quite a few things happening throughout the universe over the past several months as well. Things that are only growing The Winter Wolf’s popularity, as shown by the enormous audience watching in the viewing room.
One of those things is the rapid spread of the lunar winter beasts to all corners of the universe. And along with that, the significant increase in lunar ice energy that’s grown to a point of being noticeable by the various nations.
An increase that’s only making turning into a lunar winter beast even more popular than before. Since it makes lunar ice a more powerful element overall, and with more filling the universe, more of it can be used.
And thanks to the absolute loyalty all lunar winter beasts feel towards the Progenitor of Lunar Ice and the Blue Moon, every single lunar winter beast in the universe and even in other universes are watching his livestreams.
Although how the lunar winter beast virus has spread to other universes so quickly is beyond Mikaela.
More time passes before The Winter Wolf finally manages to clear the six hundred and ninety sixth floor, moving onto the six hundred and ninety seventh floor. At which point more monsters begin to appear. With even the floors, walls, ceilings, and random floating rubble turning into monsters.
Making the floor theme more and more chaotic in the process.
But instead of making things harder for him, the difference actually makes it easier for him to get through the floor. Simply because there are more chances for him to find mini bosses amongst them.
“It looks like the change in this floor is helping him instead of hurting him,” Mikaela says before smirking at the sound of disappointment flooding the stadium.
They’ve gotten a taste of seeing his suffering and now find it amusing… I don’t know if that’s just sad or funny, but it helps make my viewing room more successful.
Of course, he understands that the only reason they’re like this is because most of the tragedies that have happened in the recent years have passed now. Such as the forced voided karma bond between the people in the System and Grim, and the War of the Progenitors that has now moved into the void between universes.
Thanks to that, the people of the universe are able to relax again and enjoy the entertainment brought to them by the Administrator and Beta Dungeons.
On the topic of the Administrator Dungeon, Mikaela gets word that something important is happening inside of said dungeon. So he places another livestream next to The Winter Wolf’s, making two main screens instead of one. With the second screen showing the seven hundred and tenth floor of the Administrator Dungeon. Where Crystal Leblanc, otherwise known as Deadshot, is currently running away from a massive dragon monster.
“While The Winter Wolf is enjoying his time in the Beta Dungeon,” Mikaela says to a round of laughter from the audience, “let’s check on Deadshot as she deals with the aftermath of opening a Pandora’s Box!”
The Winter Wolf isn’t the only one with a dedicated fanbase. Deadshot has her own fanbase as well, just like the other competitors in the Administrator Dungeon. So Mikaela’s made a habit of keeping track of their livestreams as well to show interesting events happening there.
Especially when The Winter Wolf isn’t doing anything particularly interesting.
And the fans are happy about this. Some of them are even talking about how the Arcadian Live viewing room is finally returning to its roots again.
Back to the time before The Winter Wolf was separated from the other Competitors into the Beta Dungeon.
The audience goes wild as Deadshot repeatedly fires off arrows with her bow at the massive dragon chasing her through the maze of gravestones that make up the floor she’s on. But her arrows don’t do as much damage as she no doubt hoped they would. Leaving her fleeing more rather than fighting.
Just a couple minutes later, though, something very interesting happens on her livestream.
Deadshot and the dragon end up encountering a massive skeletal dinosaur, and Deadshot leads the dragon to attack the skeletal dinosaur.
“Is it time for Deadshot’s specialty already?!” Mikaela shouts with his excitement clear in his voice. “It looks like it! It’s time for another monster fight!”
And before he even finishes speaking, the dragon and skeletal dinosaur floor boss begin attacking each other as Deadshot moves to a safe distance to watch.
Something she often does on some of the boss floors.
This is perfect broadcasting material while we wait for The Winter Wolf to reach the Centurion Boss Floor!
