By now you're all familiar with the map view of Canyon Skies; when I was sculpting it, I would consistently change the angle of the sun to see how the shadows would cast on the landscape. My favorite time of day in this world is about 2pm.

Canyon Skies' lots take inspiration from Arizona's different cultures and architectural styles. The neighborhoods have distinct elements of historic Old-Western, Diné (Navajo) and Hispanic colonial influences, as well as some Frank Lloyd Wright influence for the more modern neighborhood.

Inspired by my childhood in Arizona, Canyon Skies has winding scenic highways that follow the natural curves of the cliffsides. The 'New Deal'-era architecture and infrastructure of the town creates an experience with both subtle and dramatic moments.
