The main problem with the Jaegerist argument is that most of the world does not even know Eldians exist outside of Marley. And even within Marley itself, the majority of ordinary civilians are not directly responsible for the oppression of Eldians. We see this repeatedly throughout the story, including Eldians forming families with Marleyan citizens, which directly contradicts the idea of a universally hostile population.
While prejudice and bigotry certainly exist among some Marleyans, they do not represent all of Marley’s people, let alone the rest of the world. The true source of Eldian suffering lies with the ruling class and governing institutions that enforce segregation, militarization, and systemic abuse.
For the Jaegerists to respond by advocating global mass genocide, an act that would overwhelmingly target innocent civilians rather than oppressive leaders or military forces, is fundamentally unjustifiable. Their solution does not distinguish between perpetrators and bystanders, between governments and civilians, or between individuals who actively support oppression and those who have no role in it at all. Erasing entire populations across diverse cultures and political systems is not justice, it is collective punishment.
At its core, the Jaegerist ideology mirrors the very logic it claims to oppose. It reduces humanity to racial categories, dehumanizes those deemed “other,” and justifies extermination as self-defense. What they are ultimately fighting for is ethnic cleansing on a global scale, driven either by vengeance or by a supremacist worldview that places one group’s survival above all moral limits.
In doing so, the Jaegerists do not defeat their enemy, they become it. Their argument rests on the same cruelty, hypocrisy, and moral collapse that defined the oppression of Eldians in the first place. At best, it is a contradiction. At worst, it is outright evil.

I think a good comparison would be if you had like 100 captives (Paradis) in a camp with 1000 captors (rest of world) And half the captors were cruel and aggressive and the other half were kind of neutral. They didn’t hate the captives. They didn’t even bother them, but they knew what was happening to them and they buried their heads in the sand just going on about their duties. And the captives come together and they say if we wanna get out of here we have To eliminate all our captors. If we eliminate our captors are we the bad guys.
So that is why the Jaegerist are doing what they’ve done most of the world military force has nothing but distain for the Eldians but they were afraid of Titans so they stayed away, but as they built up their weaponry to take down Titans the Jaegerist see it as it’s only a matter of time before they come for us. Peace is impossible from their point of view and I think one of the bigger issues even is that everyone seems to always be like they could’ve had another plan. They could’ve been peace talks, but the problem is peace talks only tend to work if you beat your opponent into submission like in episode 4x1 the peace talks only happened after Reiner and Zeke destroyed their military. Are our main cast strong because they’re fighting to save the world like if society I don’t know wanted to wipe out the Nazis and a couple of troops were like saving their lives. Would we be cheering them on and against the people who wanted to wipe them out?
So many sides are wrong in the world but their doing what they can for their homes
