External Rotation and Tight Lats
Added 2022-12-03 20:33:01 +0000 UTCWhile there are many different reasons for stubborn shoulders, one common issue I see is going into shoulder INTERNAL rotation at the end range of their shoulder stretch...THIS is the compensation we're trying to avoid. But first-- WHY do we do this?! Most often, we internally rotate because it puts our LATS on a bit more slack, so we can eek out a few more degrees of elevation before hitting our limit. Goal-oriented creative compensators strike again!!
