Itโs really cool how that storyline comes full circle. As we all know, time is an illusion (and so are pants) lol

2025-03-04 23:43:03 +0000 UTCNow that you've seen all our villains and finished s3, I will finally say that at the end of the day, where ATLA is about characters and their growth from experiences with each other, Korra is ultimately about the ideologies of her foes, and what makes them extremists but also what she can learn from each them and how to use those lessons to help create balance in the world. By each season: S1: Communism, how equality is good, how people are suffering in a newly industrial world, but ultimately Amon represents corruption, greed, lies S2: Theocracy, how forcing beliefs, perverting and corrupting beliefs and using them for oppression are evil but ultimately they need the spirits in order to live in harmony. S3: Anarchy. While oppressive rulers and systems of government are awful, pure chaos can't be the replacement and political violence is bad. S4: We get Fascism. You will have to wait and see how that plays out.
