I really kinda wanna watch the old series now ๐ just in my own time lmao. We're leaving for the next 48-72 hours! Back this upcoming week with FALLOUT and ABIGAIL! And hopefully Avatar ๐ค

In that first spice harvester attack scene, the reason they donโt use the laser weapons right away is because it would reveal their position to the Ornithopter with the turret gun. And the Fremen couldnโt use the laser against the shielded Ornithopter because when a laser touches a shield, it creates a nuclear explosion. So they had to first take out the Ornithopter before going after the Harvester

Paul was 'supposed' to be female according to the plans of the Bene Gesserit. They were also 'grooming' Feyd-Rautha to be part of their plan. Due to the fact the plan was to wipe out the Atreides via bloodlines (with Jessica being the secret daughter of the Baron Harkonnen) and they also 'secured the bloodline' via controlling Feyd-Rautha into impregnanting another Bene Gesserit its clear the Harkonnens were the favourite to strengthen for the future. Thus its likely it was intended for the daughter of the Atreides' Duke to marry Feyd-Rautha and take control of Caladan. In short, Paul was meant to be the wife or concubine of Feyd-Rautha and have a child with him - who likely was the 'messiah' figure that was 'prophesied' (or rather, manipulated into being via intricate planning). Which makes their fight rather more... suggestive, even if it wasn't the intention of the writer.

2024-05-06 02:27:21 +0000 UTCFor such a long movie it kind of flew by for me in the cinema. My senses were assaulted almost non-stop, especially the soundtrack. So intense, but also so enjoyable. Which is odd for me because I'm usually really hypersensitive to walls of noise.
