So instead of dying, I decided to press further, New week, new model. Tried to apply methods I learned from binging charcoal information online in this session, decided against watercolour. It’s too messy and I’m scared of dropping it everywhere ;__;

The 1s!

The 2s! God the third drawing is such a gremlin lmao

I loved that sitting pose, but I messed up his legs :(

LOOK AT THAT LONG SHITTY ARM LMFAO GODXGKDFHG you doofus

I spent ages trying to get the proportions in before shading instead of doing bold lineart, and I ran out of time just as I started going lmao OH WELL, 10-minute dude I think

I liked this, I did a kinda messy way of shading where I just grind the charcoal stick sideways across the body, and I liked the effect it made.

20-minute dude

Back to the 2s!

Experimented with cross-hatching here, I don’t often do that and some of the tutorials I saw showed that method, though obviously less blatant hahaha

40-minute WIP. I really really REALLY liked the way the foot looked here, so I snapped a picture before I continued, assuming I’d ruin it somehow hahaha

I didn’t mind this too much, I’m feeling less depressed now. I just gotta keep trying and experimenting and messing up ;__; Thanks for reading!!
