Even though the Expressway wasn't the last GP to film here is some behind the scenes about it!
Jelle is fixing the splits. Slower marbles will benefit from having the inside line while the faster ones will have to go all the way in the outside
It's somewhat distortion from the lens, but look how big the track looks compared to Jelle (1.75m)!
Adjustments needed to be made before the start of the race. This track is quite long and we need to make sure the inclination is pitch perfect in order to provide good racing!
The Kobalts are the proof than even science guys can throw in a great party!
Oh yes... we know. We promised no racing gimmicks.. But how could we possibly say no to this quad split? I mean, yes the extra features didn't work out well last year but we feel this is the exception on that rule. And that's why we went forward to add it this year as well! Actually, it is the only feature to be praised by fans, so we hope you like it!
Unlike any other production this time everything worked like a charm. We had some delays at the start but we made up so much time in the process that for the first time we feel comfortable about the schedule! Around the time the 2nd race was out in S3, we hadn't made the 5th GP. So having the whole season wrapped up by now is a huge step forward!
Next up: CASINO SQUARE!!!
