2025-07-10 19:45:51 +0000 UTCHiding actresses' pregnancies when the character isn't pregnant or not that far into the pregnancy is always fun, but the coats Bell wears are ridiculous. They could have just left it open, with black lining and black clothing underneath. Had to smile watching it the whole episode. They didn't do a good job with Snow either time, but still better than with Bell, I think. Snow's jacket in the episode shows the difference very well. And I think Bell really loves Rumple and his darkness. She WANTS to be a hero but she's drawn to his darkness but she tells herself "I can't let that happen because that's not what a hero does" but Belle (unfortunately) isn't a hero like Snow. It started out dark but that was what she liked about him. Not the "I see the man behind the beast" thing, that was just something she was trying to tell herself, but she saw and sees the beast in the man. She wants so badly to be a hero, but when it comes down to it she allows the darkness and like Rumple said, if it helps her, his dark magic is perfect for her purpose. Everyone in Storybrooke had a different personality but it was never far from who they originally were and considering what Belle's Storybrooke alterego was, it makes sense. Because it allowed her to live out the part of herself that she tried so hard to suppress.
