This episode is the second consecutive season’s twelfth episode to feature a sleepover with Mercedes, Rachel, and Kurt. The first was in the episode “Silly Love Songs”. During the sleepover, they are watching the movie Twilight. The title card for the episode was created by a fan and Glee Wiki user. This is also the seventh episode where Rachel doesn’t sing a solo. This is also the first episode where Tina is absent. It was rumored that Ricky Martin’s character was supposed to be a recurring character and was supposed to have a romance with April Rhodes (Kristin Chenoweth), but it obviously didn’t happen. That would have been interesting though. There’s also a couple mistakes to look out for. 1. Sue tells Becky that she is a better speller than Brittany. However, in season 4 episode 2, Becky is shown to misspell her name as "Bocky" on a test, whereas Brittany spells her own name correctly on the same test. 2. In season 1 episode 6, Sue states that she doesn't know why one would even want a child because the desire to procreate shows "great personal weakness," and she also says "Don't have the time; don't have the uterus." However, in this episode, she suddenly wants a child, and subsequently gets pregnant with and gives birth to Robin Sylvester. There are a few things to look for during Sexy And I Know It. 1. Santana can be seen running twice towards the whiteboard. 2. Quinn is seen getting up from the choir room stairs after Rachel, but on the following scene she's back sitting next to Sugar. 3. Kurt is also seen getting up in one shot, then getting up from the same place in another.
