i also love the little girl, tho she wasnt in descendants (ah i love the movies) it was another girl who looks similar. she is in a new netflix show xoxo kitty, which i would love to see you react to, but its not a musical, its more a drama.

2024-01-16 14:17:37 +0000 UTCFew days late but few things about this episode. 1) the writing credit once again goes to Julia Lester's (Ashlyn) girlfriend Ilana Wolpert. She actually just had a movie she wrote come out. It's a romcom called "Anyone But You" which stars Sydney Sweeny who Danny would recognize from Euphoria. 2) Carlos's 3 name tag being on upside down is a nod to him putting the 3 upside down in last week's watch party when they announced what musical they were doing this season. 3) when Cozi Zuehlsdorff was told to write "Puppy Love" she had the unique challenge of having to write something that was both a theme song and be used for Ricky to serenade Gina. 4) "Puppy Love (Ricky’s version)" was done live! As the Patreon member Ashlyn said, they were finally able to go back to how they were doing things in S1 of having them do it live and then chosing whether or not to use the live or studio version. 5) as Turnip said Liamani Segura wasn't in Descendants. HSMTMTS is actually her first acting gig. 6) Kylie Cantrall (Dani) has some of her own music out. She actually has a video on her YouTube of some of the HSMTMTS S4 cast reacting to her song "Texts Go Green" I feel like I'm forgetting something that I wanted to add. If I remember it I'll add it to a reply under this. I can't wait until next episode

I love this season, I'm obviously biased bc rina but also there's so much more to it that makes it great.

The humor is elevated and lands better, the music is better, the filmmaking is better, and I think the characters and themes have even more depth than previous seasons. Also, I believe Ricky's solo this episode was sung live! The cast and showrunner have said that they were finally able to start performing the songs live this season with Covid restrictions starting to lift

Also Ricky singing the Mark and Spark theme song was beautiful and sweet. When I first watched it, it made me happy cry. Also, the girl playing Emmy is not from Descendants. The character in Descendants was played by Anna Cathcart, in HSMTMTS the actress's name in Liamani. She hadn't really done too much before this show.

Season 4 really made everybody go crazy🥳🥳🔥, but the girl that played Dani that’s her name I think that’s how she is suppose to act like, she really is a good actress, she had her own show on Disney and etc. my childhood star😂, she should have blown up but Covid was approaching and she wanted to do her own music instead of Disney controlling her
