This is a great explanation. I'll add one other thing that I interpret from it. I believe that "You kept me like a secret" is referring to the fact that he wasn't too proud of being with her... he downplayed the relationship to other people (which fits with the "you never called it what it was" lines as well as the big fight in the short film). But I also think the "just between us" that's repeated many times at the end is referring to this same issue. I suspect that it was something he said to her all the time in the relationship. because it doesn't really make sense in some of the places she uses it in the song. But she seems to just tack it on there, kind of like she's throwing his words back in his face, almost sarcastically.

and you'd REALLY be crying when you know that her grandmother Marjorie was an aspiring opera singer, who dreamed of singing to thousands of people in huge venues, but never did. Taylor sampled her grandmother's recorded voice in the song. You can hear her grandmother singing in a couple places in the song. It's so beautiful that Taylor is making her grandmother's dream come true, to the biggest crowds around the whole globe.

It’s funny how you mentioned that you felt Taylor could have gone harder in the song I Knew You Were Trouble during the Eras Tour. You should react to her performance of it during the 1989 tour, I think you’ll really like it! She did a much different version of it https://youtu.be/n7hhxFndiRo

Ok responding only to your questions about 'All too well 10', this is going to be long but I don't feel like it's complicated? ... Yes, they broke up and got back together (we are never getting back together is about this relationship lol). She basically says the relationship died, it's been dead for 3 months yet they get back together because only after it's gone does he admit it was love "he's gonna say it's love, you never called it what it was,'til we were dead and gone and buried, check the pulse and come back swearing, it's the same, after three months in the grave", he insisted the love was alive as he holds onto something that's long gone, while she felt ashamed for going back to him at all "and then you wondered where it went to as I reached for you, but all I felt was shame, and you held my lifeless frame". For the last verse... I feel like it only feels "cryptic" if you think of the song as a love story, there are layers because the love was real, but her ex made her feel like she had to justify that it was real and meaningful, and the last verse is clarifying that in hindsight this relationship hurt her beyond repair and was messed up considering he was 29 dating a 20 year old. Which could've been ok if he hadn't broken up with her saying "if we had been closer in age maybe it would've been fine, and that made me want to die", and yet "the punch line goes I'll get older, but your lovers stay my age". So he and his city that they spent time in together damaged her, "your Brooklyn broke my skin and bones" their relationship was a battle so she's "a soldier who's returning half her weight" but finding herself. And she's directly asking if their relationship even hurt him too, she's spent this entire song reminding herself it was real as if he gaslit her into believing it wasn't as deep as she felt it, she just wants him to just admit it hurt him too "And did the twin flame bruise paint you blue? Just between us, did the love affair maim you too?" (twin flames is a reference to them both being fire signs, fiery people and maybe too similar, which is also referenced in a song called "state of grace"). The only line I do think is more poetic and difficult to read is "'Cause in this city's barren cold, I still remember the first fall of snow, And how it glistened as it fell, I remember it all too well", this city where their relationship ended is cold now, the happy autumn when they were in love "autumn leaves falling like peaces into place" turned cold, yet the heartbreak was still tragically beautiful, even as the relationship was falling apart. This song is basically the snow glistening as it falls lol.

A little (lot) late to your reaction, but LONG LIVE! I remember in 2006 when her Self Titles Debut album released I was 7 years old listening to the radio and following her path for really my whole life lol.
Also, during the Long Live song where you said it feels like she was about to cry, there are TikTok videos of people in the crowd shouting responses like:
If you have children some day (We do!)
When they point to the pictures
Please tell them my name (They know your name!)
Very sweet and lovely reaction from you!

You were so impressed with how much stamina she had and how great she sounded even up to the end. In her person of the year interview with Time, she said she trained for 6 months for the tour, and would run on a treadmill for 3 hours everyday just singing the setlist. Her gym also had her on a customized fitness plan, and she spent extra time learning her choreography. She said she wanted her fans to get the very best show from her every night, for every song, so she really gave it her all. Amazing.

Oh by the way, she picked "Betty" because she and Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are best friends and their kids names are Inez and James and at the time their newborn daughter's name hadn't been shared with the public but Taylor got permission to include it as the name of the song which then alerted everyone to the kid's name and so all three of Blake and Ryan's kids names are in a Taylor Swift song which is super cute.

Long Live! I've been here since Teardrops on My Guitar (but I can't wait for you to discover my favorite song from debut because that's not it lol). I had to wait until I got back home to watch you and I'm so glad I did. I loved your reaction so much! By the way, I didn't see anyone else mention it but the two songs during the acoustic set change for every single show so we call them "surprise songs" because every single show has a different set of acoustic songs and she didn't generally repeat them. So that was a way for her to make people excited about a show they could see clips of all over the internet because people would tune in to see what acoustic songs she's surprise fans with each night.

Audrey, someone else has probably said this, but Marjorie from the evermore set was about her grandmother. Fearless is her second album, not her first. Her debut album sadly did not make it into the fixed set list; it's one of two re-recordings she has yet to release, and that one above all others, I'd like to hear you go into depth comparing the vocals of the original to the new version. Also, a lot of people proposed during Love Story, and I just want you to think about how, if the proposals were refused, both people then had to hear Champagne Problems just 3 songs later.

Long Live-Debut!
Betty, James, and Inez are 3 of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds kids (they now have 4, but only 3 when Taylor wrote the song). Taylor is really good friends with both of them, so that makes loads of sense.
The song “The Last Great American Dynasty” is about the real life socialite Rebekah Harkness and Taylor really did by her house “Holiday House” in 2013.

I’ve been a fan of Taylor for years! I even remember when her first album Taylor swift was released! But I didn’t get fully into her music until fearless album! I even still have the cd of the fearless album I remember playing that cd over and over again! I was around 10 years old when it was released! (I’m 25 now) and I love all of her music! But I am now just hearing fokelore and evermore for the first time during this album!

Sometimes Audrey starts talking right when the best lyrics or when the bridge starts, which isnt her fault at all since she doesnt know the songs, but sometimes I’m like ahhh Audrey you would LOVE that part!! But i love how excited Audrey gets in general that you just gotta smile when you see her experiencing taylor.

Long Live - DEBUT!!!! I'm sure some people said it, but just before I forget. You haven't reacted to Evermore yet, but I know you're going to love it!! My Tears Ricochet - to me- is about her relationship with her old manager that signed her and she basically helped create his record company Big Machine Records and then him selling her masters to someone who publicly taunted her and he knew she had a bad relationship with. He didn't let her buy her masters back -- his offer was to earn them (all 6. Rep was her last contractual album with BMR) back one album at a time. So in essence, she would have to put out 6 more albums to earn back what she had already created. So instead she decided to make them irrelevant because she still owned the copy to the sheet music and the lyrics. Hence.. TAYLORS VERSION. Now.. when I heard My Tears Ricochet, I very quickly said it was about that because I clearly saw the parallels in the symbolism of that relationship- with it being soo guttural. Other people who don't know the details have said it reminds them of a divorce. She spent a lot of time on Folklore and Evermore creating songs from other inspirations, not just her life. Tolerate It is actually a song she wrote after reading the book Rebecca (which is also now a Netflix movie). (She didn't perform Death By A Thousand Cuts from Lover.. I think it may have been in Tiny Desk.. buttt.. she also wrote that after watching a Netflix movie called Someone Great.. buttttt.. the real full cirlce of that is that the woman who wrote the movie wrote it after going through a massive break up and moving across country. She listened to 1989 and it got her through. So Taylor inspired her to write the movie, that inspired Taylor to write a song.) Also!! Last Great American Dynasty is about her house in Rhode Island called "Holiday House". The woman who owned it before her was Rebekah Harkness. She tells the story of her life and then she bridges in, in the last verse her buying it and the parallel of Rebekah and her both being "mad women". I also want to note that it was so special that she sang Long Live like that with her band and back up singers because that's how she sang it on the Speak Now tour and that's also the same guitar from that era. It was in the grammy museum and she borrowed it from them for the tour. Also to note that the guitar she sings with during her acoustic set (I believe) is the same one as her debut tour.. if it is not.. then its a replica! Also, someone mentioned it above, buttttt.. during the 1989 tour, she had Kobe Bryant come out on stage and then backstage met his daughters and wife. So this time when she came back to L.A. as a nod to that and in remembrance of her and knowing/loving their family, she gave the hat (during the Red era) to his daughter. which.. had me in tears when I saw it! Thanks so much for doing this and sharing what you do! I enjoyed watching you watch the movie sooooooo much! It was seriously so fun, even if I didn't get to do it live!

Long live 🫶 I think you would love watching her behind the scenes for the all too well short film. You get to see her directing and it is just awesome. Also, you might really like her speech at NYU graduation where she was awarded an honorary doctor of fine arts! It was 3 months before she announced midnights and she was dropping eggs for us! Here's a link: https://youtu.be/OBG50aoUwlI?si=oOO59flCMw-UKCWP
I know it isn't related to singing, but it is just incredible hearing what she has to say, so maybe you can react to it? And, of course, read her Time interview for Person of the Year 🥹❤️🫶❤️

the song "Marjorie" is about her grandmother. The person who choreographed Taylor's Eras Tour is named Mandy Moore. She has worked on the TV shows "So You Think You Can Dance?" and "Dancing With the Stars". The song "All Too Well" (from 'Red') is about her relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal (at least that's what most of the fans theorize). Technically she has already been in a musical; "Cats". She also was in the movie "Amsterdam" with Margot Robbie and Christian Bale. In the song "Blank Space" for the longest time, I thought one of the lyrics said "got a lot of Starbucks lovers", and then after I figured out it wasn't that I thought the lyric was "got a long list of star-crossed lovers", but then I finally looked up the lyrics and realized she was saying "long list of ex-lovers", and not any of the words I originally thought she said in the song 😅. Also Long live-ish because I have been a fan of her off and on since I heard about her, which was elementary school for me (I’m 22 now).

As you asked her albums are in order of : Taylor swift (country debut album), Fearless (country), Speak Now (country rock), Red (country pop), 1989 (synth pop), reputation (electro, hip hop infused pop after the cancellation), lover (bubblegum/songwriter pop) folklore and evermore (folk sister albums) and then midnights (alt pop)
