Let's just say if I *were* ever looking for a guy the descriptor of "cool steampunk, glitter-rock vampire with, like, tats and guyliner" would definitely work in their favor lmfao best description ever <3

Rachel yelling "TAXEY!" will never not be funny 😂
So glad you like the NY storylines so far. It does feel a bit like a different show but it's good different. It's more 'realistic', as much as Glee can be anyway, and the music is amazing. Next episode tackles a very important and serious issue.
I really loved that scene with Blaine and Elliott. Some people say Blaine is possessive but he's clearly just insecure. When he came to NY Kurt had already built a life there for himself. He had experience and had matured in a way Blaine hadn't. I think it's a very human thing, a common thing, to feel suffocated. It doesn't matter how much you love the person, sometimes it just gets too much and you need space, which is completely normal AND healthy.
Fun fact: Apparently Darren and Adam improvised the "Glitter Rock Vampire" song. It actually makes so much sense because when you give Darren a guitar he stops being Blaine and becomes Darren.
Also, both Lea's dad and Chris's boyfriend (who he is still with) are extras in this episode. Lea's dad is walking in front of her on the streets of NY during the end of People wearing a black parka and hat and Chris's bf is at the mime class at NYADA.

This is the start of when Naya asked to become a secondary character in glee so it’s sad she’s only in a few scattered episodes in the rest of the season. This is also when Glee started to feel like a whole different TV show and it becomes so different then the first few seasons.
I’ve actually watched seasons 1-4 religiously but I’ve only watched these next episodes and next season maybe twice so it’ll be fun to rewatch them now and see if I might like them this time around
