Nope. Never. It might be because I have a weird burst of electrical activity every night in the middle of REM sleep, though.

Cody M

like never ever??

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

The fairy tale you were wondering about was Hansel and Gretel. I have never remembered my dreams/nightmares - so I dunno.

Cody M

Ahhh. 😌 Okay.🫰🏼I see 👀😅

Koko

Technically -m but they usually go by -e. 😁

Miya

Yay. 😃👀🎉

Koko

Now my wheels are turning. 🛞 I wonder who it is. 🤔🎊 Can you say the last letter of their first name? 🫣😅

Koko

Super cool right.😎✌🏼🎊

Koko

omg it was the same as 90210?! Thats crazy!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

yea I get the fused jaw one too. Usually that means that I'm stressed to tell someone something or that I'm not speaking my truth enough

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

I do know that when I used to have nightmares as a kid it would help to get excited for the dream. I had one where I would fall, then I was excited to dream it because I knew it was a dream... but it never came back once I wasnt scared. I wonder if the same thing could be applied as an adult?

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Crazy how our nightmares of change from crazy monsters to becoming "letting others down" as we get older

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Ok thats somethign to keep in mind that the characters are there even if I dont always see them

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

I know I will at some point

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

I just want to add that from here on...the show gets so much better. Things start melding so much better from side characters to main characters. The plot also gets more linear. Which, from the stand point of a short seasons vs a full 20-22 episode season, that's super impressive. I feel like shows that have 8-12 episodes in a season have harder lift off in the first season.

If you loved this episode, you've gotta watch season 2. This one stands out, but 2 has some ICONIC episodes

Rebecca Matte

This is one of the iconic episodes of the show. There's a point in it that makes the start of season 6 so... I'll shut up. Regarding Miss Calendar (no spoilers), you have to keep in mind that tv back then was very episode-of-the-week and often had side characters pop up for one episode, disappear for a while and show up again later. For example, we don't see the principle very often or refer to him at all, but he's still technically *around*. So sometimes you'll have characters that come back every now and then, and some others you never see again. And yes, I suspect that, as you mentioned, the writers would also at times wait to see how the public reacted, and brought back characters because they got a good reception. You're almost to the end of the season! I really hope you keep going afterwards, because my favorite character doesn't show up until season 2.

Miya

Ugh, I've always had nightmares. I remembered then a lot when I was younger. Now, it's like I know I wake up from them and about three minutes of being awake I forget what they're about. I think my biggest one as a kid was about "The Footprint Monster." It was this monster that was looking for me and it would leave red footprints as it walked. I didn't usually see the monster itself but always the footprints. They weren't just in the ground either, they're go up the walls and on the ceiling etc. It was always freaky bc I knew I needed to not get caught but I could never tell where it was (even with the footprints). They would be so over the place so that you couldn't tell which direction it most recently went. Somewhere I have a book we made in preschool where I draw it in detail for some project. I had it for years. Other big ones as a kid were trying to get away from things and not being able to move fast enough. Like couldn't run or anything, everything was just like in super slow motion. I dreamed about witches a lot (mostly from the movie witches). Oh! And lmfao nightmares about being in the McDonald's pull back cars from happy meals and the giant from the opening of Eureka's Castle was chasing me.... Yes the nickelodeon show that was not scary at all and had lots of cute puppets 🙄🙄🙄🙄 As am adult I'm mostly prone to stress dreams. And for some reason there are always gators in them. Growing up in FL like obviously there are gators all over, but I've never been hugely afraid of them. And even in the dreams I'm not afraid of them they're just usually somehow always in my stress dreams no matter if they fit in with the rest of the dream or not. Weird tangent, but on that note... In elementary school there were several canals and a lake near by. Like once a month at the end of the day they would send everybody to the cafeteria (near the front of the school) and make us wait there. They'd use walkie talkies between car loop and inside to call out kids car by car bc "the gator was out." as in like our in the parking lot..... It was like a couple of years is this. Idk if it was the same gator or what but it became a very common thing. All my adult nightmares are just anxiety or abandonment issue or stress dreams ugh

If you like this episode, you have to keep watching the series. It just gets better and better from here. I call them stress dreams. They're always the same. I'm in the process of teaching a group exercise class and I somehow lose control of the class. The stereo stops working and while I'm trying to fix it, people start to leave or I have to help someone individually with their hand weights and people start talking and interrupting the class. After all these years I have yet to figure out the meaning behind it. I'm obviously concerned about losing control of something in my life.

I always have nightmares of being chased and not knowing what is chasing me. Sometimes I have nightmares about big things in the water like a giant shark in the dark water right up close. Willow's nightmare of being pushed on stage and not knowing any of the lyrics is so relatable. I can't even talk in my dreams a lot of the time because it feels like my jaw is fused together lol. I am petrified of clowns and I have literally never had a nightmare about one. I think my brain knows I'd probably die of fright in my sleep if that happened LOL Poor Xander but then he turned and punched his nightmare in the face and that was cool lol. When he made a joke at the beginning of the episode about Nazis crawling on his face in lieu of spiders I didn't think he actually meant he had nightmares about Nazis but the swastika symbols on the walls say otherwise. Someone, at least, is having nightmares about Nazis. Ms. Calander will be back in the next episode I think, at least the last one. Dave and Fritz both died because of Moloch. Moloch in his mecha suit broke Fritz's neck.

This episode is so magnificent.👌🏼 It’s so relatable & real, while the comedy 🎭 brings balance. The kid aka the evil chosen one (you mention), he is the same exact kid who plays that character. 🧒🏻 I’m unsure if we had basements. 🤔 I also never had time for sleuthing. 🧐🔍🔦 Yes,👌🏼Buffy Summers, Dad = Hank Summers, Mom = Joyce Summers. The school that they film at is Torrance High in Torrance, CA where Beverly Hills, 90210 was also filmed. 🎥🤩 A few other locations were used but this was the most notable location. 🏫 The Craft (the original) is epic & a classic. 👀 🎉 for sure, I wonder if Danny would enjoy that movie. 🎥 Xanders nightmare about the clown 🤡 (Have you ever seen the movie series, It? [It 1990, It (I) 2017, It Chapter Two 2019]), is a reference to the famous brothers Grimm fairytale, Hansel & Gretel. It has many variations. The link is below & if you keep scrolling & reading, you will see more than one variation. 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 https://owlcation.com/humanities/hansel_and_gretel So in BTVS S1: E8 Fritz is possessed by the demon Moloch, he kills Dave and plants the S note. 📝 Then, Fritz kidnaps Willow, bringing her to an old factory.🏭 When she wakes up, Moloch reveals himself in robot 🤖 form. During his mono., 💬 he kills Fritz. So Dave & Fritz are both dead. My nightmares are mostly too wild🫣 to get into. However, some others involve missing dance moves, script lines and lyrics for performances. Also, freezing🥶 on stage. Then, failing for lack of info on tests & completely blanking 😐 on tests.

Koko

I can relate. I think my most recent worst nightmare is that my weenie dog falls in the pool and drowns

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

It's weird, I never remember my dreams, all I know is that sometimes I'll wake up totally terrified and with no idea why. My nightmare while awake is easy, I'm a mum and the idea of anything happening to my children, even if the oldest is 24, is absolutely crippling Don't worry Ms Calendar will be back, she has a whole story that doesn't really get started until season 2 so hopefully you'll keep watching after season 1 ends

Kate Baro

oh nice!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully as you get older and more confident, you'll learn to love being alone and know that you will never live up to the expectations of everyone. I know theyre always challenges that I deal with but I've gotten so much stronger over time❤️

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

One of my nightmares has to be failing, not living up to expectations of others or a basic is losing someone or being completely alone

One of my recurring nightmares involves my fear of heights/falling. One I vividly remember is being on this huge swing and that sensation of falling felt so real I jolted awake. That first Buffy nightmare in her history class is similar to a dream I had. It was a dream that spanned months lol. I was in college and there was one class I went to for the first couple days then I stopped going and it was suddenly the end of the semester and the final was approaching. I had this intense fear that I was going to fail because I didn’t go to this one class and when I woke up, I actually thought it happened. I get these deja vu moments all the time.

Benjamin Smith

I don’t want to spoil too much but I’ll just say we will see Ms. Calendar again.

Benjamin Smith

Nightmares is the most highlightable. But Prophesy Girl is my favorite of season 1.
