The lead singer for "The Hoosierdaddies" is actually singing. Her name is Jessica Sanchez. When you hear her speak, you definitely don't think the vocals match, but it is her. She did a live "acoustic" version of this song with the original artist, Zedd. It was really good. She's one of those, small but mighty types. She was on America's (or Britain's, can't remember) Got Talent when she was little—sounded really good too.

They are the male choir from Yale and I believe the oldest men's college choir in the country. I got to sing with them some years ago with my college choir and in fact, in this Glee episode is a personal friend of mine! The third man in from the left when they are onstage is my friend McKay from school. Glasses and buzzed sides. He is so sweet, they all are. And the song they are singing is kind of their calling card. They always end with Rainbow Connection. McKay took the solo on it when they performed at my school. Lots of cheers from the crowd!! :D

I think S4 is my least favorite tbh cause of the disorganized, chaotic back and forth between the 2 settings.

They could bring Rachel to try to "revive" the choir in the last few episodes of season 5, going to get the characters that were transferred from the school, and starting season 6 with them returning, I think it would be much better.

2023-05-21 21:06:56 +0000 UTCThe last 2 seasons focus on OG, mainly due to Cory's passing. the drop in viewership of the show gets bigger in the 2nd half of season 5, and season 6 has the worst number of views (so it drops to 13 episodes), and it's the worst season ever... as well as episodes 15 to the 20th of the 5th season. The show is gone with Finn, who was the true soul of the show, focusing only on Rachel's boring stories and her selfishness in getting everything, regardless of trampling over anyone. It would be more interesting if they bring in Rachel to assist in the choir in season 5, maybe that would make the show better, or at least watchable in season 6

Next two episodes 1 Love, love, love and the continuation are my favorite episodes song wise !! Greateast renditions and then you got punched and ripped out through the whole season :(

I loved watching Brittney, I could see her bump clearly a couple of times and it was so cute lol. I also felt like their setlists the entire season were a little lackluster so I wasn't surprised that you were skeptical about their song choices lol Ryder's outburst, while understandable to a degree makes me SO uncomfortable. His physical anger and knowing what the actor himself did with his own anger made everyone else's flinching that much more tense. and yeah when you were like "not unique, please tell me it's not unique" that's what we all thought and were hoping LOL I totally forgot about the impromptu wedding and I found myself thinking at the beginning of the episode "I wonder when Will and Emma finally do get married, I don't remember..." LOL it was now. Now is when they get married. I loved the callback to their first-season interactions lol. I mean...he was still married to Terri for all those interactions but...

I know it’s extra steps but it’s really not that bad. I end up watching the video in my browser anyways because full screen never works for me in the Vimeo that pops up when you click the link on patreon app. You could also save the password in your notes every month so it is somewhere easy to find on your phone or tablet.

I appreciate that the writers were maybe trying to differentiate this iteration of New Directions from the S1-S3 crowd by giving them more modern songs but if that was the case they chose very strange songs. I will say that I really liked that the boys got a number, the girls got a number and it finished with a Marley/Blaine duet. I really wanted one last Brittany solo and I’m not sure if you know this but for the Diva episode earlier in the season, they recorded Brittany doing Robyn’s Dancing On My Own and it’s the best she has ever sounded (the song is on YouTube, you should consider reacting to it!) but it ended up being cut from the episode. I think that would have been an awesome song for them to perform at Regionals with Brittany leading the performance and would have been such a fitting goodbye to her character.

To Love you more is one of my favorite Rachel solos, that last note is just out of this world. I get teary eyed whenever i listened to this song (if I'm not mistaken, around the time this episode aired we already found out that Cory passed away, so seeing Rachel having tears in her eyes just hurt SO much more. Know that you know who the catfish is, I'm sorry to tell you that we're never getting a real conclusion between those two. We do get a blink-and-you-miss-it scene at the very last episode of Glee, but thats that. They dropped the storyline in season 5. One of those things I really dislike about glee. As much as i love this show (and i do, its my number 1) they have this problem of just dropping storylines

They all show up from time to time and I love that we get a lot more of Santana in season 5.

Then our beloved Naya tragically passed in 2020. Cory and Naya are missed every day, it still doesn’t feel real. We will still see some of the main cast, just not a lot. They all come together for the Quarterback episode, apart for Quinn.

He's still that guy from season 1 that we all know and love. He's always cared for his students but not in an inappropriate way. Only Rachel was really inapproriate when she was trying to get really close to Mr. Schue in season 1. Bottom line, I don't think Mr. Schue deserves to be described as creepy. I'm done with my rant.

I don’t like the choreography during clarity, but the NDs winning was clearly plot armor. Brittney does comes back but not for 10-12 episodes or so. The final 2 seasons focuses more on the og characters. I guess because ratings went down during s4 and since Corey died, they knew the best chance of success was the original cast. Which I think was the smart choice. Also I agree that Blaine proposing isn’t the best choice and half the reason it’s being done was for the fans. But as a Klaine fan, it’s really cute and has its moments. Also you’re right about All of Nothing. It does not show off what Blaine and Marley can really do. Finally, this is the last time we see Joe or Sugar until the finale, and I found it weird that Brittany mentioned everyone in the room by name except for Kurt.

Santana knew Brittany’s mind worked differently it’s just that no one else could see her brilliance. Brittany has always been the most emotionally intelligent person anyway. She hates studying math because in teachers always make you show your work and she just couldn’t follow the standard methods so she just gave up and created “Happyville: the land where math was never invented”. See these MIT scholars get excited about the way her brain works is so amazing. I do agree with her, they should have sang “My Cup”. Also dumping Sam via text while standing in front of him and lighting her Cheerios uniform on fire were definitely the most epic ways quit. She was not going out quietly and meekly. I am glad that Sam knew his place and knew that Santana was the only one who could get through to her. Also that Santana dropped everything to help Brittany, including a date with and insanely hot choreographer, just goes to show how important they still are to each other.

2023-05-19 03:08:01 +0000 UTCYes, this is the season 4 finale. Brittany, as well as Mercedes, Mike, Puck and Quinn will come back, just not as much. Mark/Puck didn't die until 3 years after the show ended, in 2018. Heather Morris was 5 months pregnant when this episode was filmed so not surprising she was showing. Her baby bump is especially visible in the scene where she makes those demands and breaks up with Sam. Also the song Brittany sings, My Cup, is her original song from season 2. I feel like when compared to previous competition performances, this is pretty lackluster and maybe they didn't deserve to win, but I still like it. My favourite is Hall of Fame. I just love the song and it also showcases many different voices (of the guys mainly) instead of focusing on just one. I Love It is just fun, but for me, the last song, All or Nothing (which is an original and supposed to be written by Marley) is just not a good enough song. I know they don't usually like doing the same songs again but Marley's other two songs are much better. You Have More Friends Than You Know would've been great, emotional and plenty of Unique runs/belts. Jessica Sanchez, the lead singer from the Hoosierdaddies, is amazing. She came second in American Idol's 11th season after Phillip Phillips (his song Home was performed in a mashup earlier this season). To Love You More is one of my favourite Rachel solos. Can't believe it's not talked about more, it's so underrated. Obviously the vocals are outstanding. I mean THAT note! (there's actually a debate whether it's 20 or 27 seconds long without taking a breath, maybe you can clear that up Audrey?) But what gets to me is the emotion. The fact that Cory was in rehab when they filmed this makes it even more emotional. I feel like this and her song in The Quarterback are her most honest and raw performances.

It brings everything back into perspective to see the first cast come together. Then we have Kurt, Santana and Brittany S. Pierce making her debut, taking over lol.🤩 Can not get enough Fondue for✌🏼. BTW, Brittany does show up again in the future, so that will be nice. 🙂 I believe they sang Hall of Fame for Heather Morris aka Brittany S. Pierce, as a departure for both herself and the character. They were both going on to another part of their life’s journey but it does feel like a low-key hangout kind of song.🤔 Rachel’s audition piece was astonishing😧🫠 and something you want to jar.🫙 🎉 Also, this is one of the episodes that Quinn gets forgotten. It would have been nice to see her return for the ending (as well as all of the missing parties). 🤗💍👩🏻🦰🧑🏻🦱 Cory Monteith, 31 aka Fin Hudson passed on Sat, 13 July 2013 (from mixture drug toxicity). Mark Salling, 35 aka Noah Puckerman passed on Tues, 30 Jan 2018 (from suicide). And Naya Rivera, 33 aka Santana Lopez passed Wed, 8 July 2020 but presumed death Thur, 9 July 2020 and found on Mon, 13 July 2020 (from drowning in a lake). It is terribly tragic that they all passed away too soon.❤️

I agree on the songs but I will say that I like the full version of All or Nothing more than the show version. Also at this point in the show they had artists coming to them asking them to do their songs cause if it appeared on Glee the original version of the song usually peeked again As others have said Brittany will be back, this won't be the last you see her

2023-05-19 02:25:26 +0000 UTCThe person who sang lead on the one group that sang Remedy her name is Jessica Sanchez. She is amazing and was on Idol season 11 before she was on Glee. She was runner up and was amazing!!! I definitely recommend checking out some of her videos if you have time to. We will see Brittany again but not for a little while and she is only in a few episodes of season 5 but then has a bigger role in season 6. I loved her speech it was sad but also funny I absolutely agree with the song choices and thought the other team did better and deserved it more but of course I was also happy to see New Directions get the win so they can go to Nationals. The actor who plays Puck was still alive at this point and didn't pass until after Glee ended. We will also see him again he's just not in all the episodes as he is no longer a regular just like we don't see Quinn as much either.

They weren't bad, just not as stand-out as some of the ones in previous seasons. They were cute & fun but I agree that they didn't utilize all their strengths. Not the last we see of Brittany. But, like many out of the older cast we don't see her as much going forward.

2023-05-19 02:17:31 +0000 UTCThis was Brittany's farewell as a a regular from Glee, and she won't be around until season six, but at that time they didn't know if she was going to be able to come back. I wish she had sung a solo or duet with Santana, but it is what it is. What an underwhelming season finale. The comedy is kinda off in this season, (well, the writing in general), it feels like self sabotage. Totally agree on the competitions songs, and I'd forgotten they won, actually. I liked Unique's storyline and her lines were very heartfelt. Sure she was wrong, but that's what makes it insteresting, how someone can make a mistake without really having ill intentions. Poor Emma, after so many seasons she gets to get married in the most forgettable way. And finally, yes, Santana's face is flawless. Many reactors keep saying the same when she's onscreen, that she's so beautiful and she's got gorgeous features. Jake's also got pretty lips and could've played Santana's brother or something.

It goes to show that just because your mind might work differently than others doesn't make you any less capable than anyone else. And I absolutely love that Santana was the one to break through and get Brittany to admit what was going on, I love them (especially Santana) so so so much. (Also Brittany does come back, don't worry!) I have WAY too much to say about Unique being the catfish, but I'll keep it short and simple by saying I absolutely hate that they made it her. It feeds into the VERY harmful stereotype that every member of the LGBTQIA+ community is a predator. It's just awful and I don't even know how to express my feelings about it, I despise it THAT much. Brittany's goodbye speech was exactly what I wanted and expected from a scene like that. The comedic aspects along with the sincerity is just so Brittany I can't help but to cry and laugh every time I watch it. Her not saying anything to Santana but her name only proves how special and meaningful they are to one another and how much they love one another. They are the best couple (even when they aren't together and despite their sketchy origins) on this show and you would be hard-pressed to convince me otherwise. Honestly I feel like the writers completely forgot about Regionals and threw it into the script last minute. These definitely aren't the best competition songs for the New Directions, it was just the showrunners/writers looking to make more money by covering songs that were popular at the moment. And there are always so many missed opportunities in the show, it's just a running theme by this point lol. Anyways, I loved your reaction and am so looking forward to both the next Glee and OUAT reactions!! OUAT is one of my absolute favorite shows alongside Glee and I'm so freaking happy you're watching it now :)

Her name is Jessica Sanchez, and she was a contestant on the OG American Idol, made it to the top two, but lost to Phillip Phillips around this time. I absolutely agree with the song choices not being great. No one really got showcased and no one's voices stood out.
