Oops, sorry, I meant Xena with the million rewatches. This is actually only the second time I've watched all of Buffy. So far I'm enjoying it. Your reactions always crack me up. It's fantastic

Yea this show went on for a long time right/

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Super potentially supportive adult shows up (aside from Giles)? Def gonna die.... :( I forgot how much of a baby David (Angel) was in these, it's so trippy to see him every single time. The sub/bug was in an ep of Xena. I can always pick out those actors...we've only watched the show a billion times. I always forget how cheesy (in the best way) these are. It's always fun to see what they pulled off without huge special effects, too. Xander lowkey irritates me at this stage, but on the other hand Willow is so <3 <3 <3

ashinscribbleland

yea thats true. i do like that they dont have any super powers

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

I was also really sad when Mr Gregory died. He was one of the only teachers who seemed to really believe in Buffy as a kid trying to make it through high school (at least in these early years). But I did like how they started to flesh out Xander and Willow in these early episodes. If you see the movie, you get the notion the Slayer is usually all alone in her work, so this series took that premise and knocked it on it's head. Probably part of why it was so popular. The idea that even ordinary people could help fight evil.

Jennifer Adame

Ah yes, the bug episode. Not an important episode in any way (there is no follow-up with the hatching larvae, for example), but it does become a running joke through the series.

Jill

Just subscribed when I saw you were doing this series. You’re going to love it. Everybody does.

Bud Haven

This episode is not one of my favorites and it doesn't redeem Xander in any way at all in his earlier actions of acting like his friends were his conquests and he was actually having sex with both of them...all for some guy that literally doesn't matter except in this episode. When he feels like this teacher is in to him, he acts condescending and rude and calls them young and unable to understand. He acts like Buffy is jealous which just confuses her cause she has never shown ANY interest. But he is in his pride and his ego and while he DOES grow as a person, that is always a running theme with him. BUT I did like Buffys call out of WHY older women go for teenage boys. And also the on the nose plot that the predator teacher is LITERALLY a predator. Ultimately, in a rewarch, it's skippable and you don't miss anything but a couple of zingy one-liners.

Cory James

Yes. Xander is a big ball of hormones.

Carleen

"Is he just a big ball of hormones?" hahaha most teenage guys are that I bet praying mantis lady would love all of the cricket flour stuff that exists now. She wouldn't have to eat live cricket sandwiches! Have you contacted that good science teacher of yours and tell him how much he helped you out? Loved this reaction.

Cody M

Thank you for the Buffy reactions. It's still my favorite show to this day. I've also told people about your youtube/patreon in my facebook Buffy group!

Kristen J

I am loving these reactions!!! Thank you for the Buffy content

It's true. Many female insects kill the male after mating with them. It's kinda cool if you think about it lol

Tyler Mckenzie

Well now I know what I am going to watch tonight. Thanks!
