Big Update! Apple sucks, and Life Things ~

Hey Patrons! Update time!

So first and foremost what people need to know most is that Apple has essentially forced a new 30% tax on Patreon subscriptions when signing up the iOS App. This is in line with their app store taxing everything into oblivion. I'm sure you'll see other creators posting about this too, but the takeaway is that I am absolutely not raising prices of Patreon pledges to any of my tiers, but to avoid the Apple tax you should definitely subscribe via desktop or ANY other method than iOS, unless you want to pay more. From discussing with other creators, I believe most reaction channels will be doing the same thing.

EDIT: If you signed up via iOS already then there is no worries, you don’t have to change and the updated price won’t affect you. This update starts in November. HOWEVER, if you cancel your subscription and want to pledge again (past November), then please consider these changes.

In other news, I am starting a new full time employment very soon, and while I don't intend for this to impact anything, I want to be transparent about it! Once I get everything going properly I hope to expand my series catalogue with more content on the channel.

Yo!

Was going to record/post Frieren 17 today, but turns out my microphone decided to die this weekend. Luckily someone pointed it out to me or I’d never have noticed until too late.

Good news is that no recordings were ruined from this issue, so I just ordered a new one, fastest shipping possible. Bad news is, EARLIEST I can do next episode is Monday, depending on when it actually gets delivered.

Not a big deal in grand scheme of things, just expect some drops early next week!!!

Side note; highly considering a few series to do in tandem to Frieren, what series would you want brought to the channel?

Preferred Upload Day?

Hey Patrons!

Just out of curiosity, do you have a preferred day of the week to get uploads on? And with that, perhaps a preferred time (morning/noon/night)? I know that this may be a silly question as you guys are worldwide and share very different timezones and schedules. But I figured I would ask anways.

This is a first step in getting more communicative with you again now that uploads are more regular. Frieren 1x9 actually already loaded to go. If I get some good responses on this, might drop 1x4/1x9 early before YouTube catches up ;).

Frieren & Haikyuu Movie Update!

The Soul Tier now has access to Episode 1 of Frieren, while the Ascended Tier has up to episode 6! The series will be premiering on YouTube next week, and the soul tier will remain an episode ahead while Ascended will be 6+ episodes ahead.

The Haikyuu Movie is releasing soon too and my reaction will be available on the Soul Tier when it becomes available to watch online, which (hopefully) won't be too long from now, will stay vigilant for it.

Uplods resume soon

Hey Patrons,

Short post, but it’s good news. The uploads will be resuming soon.

There has been a lot going on for me lately, basically none of it positive, but rather than writing my sob story out, I’ll sum it up and say I’ve felt very lost, confused, burnt out, etc etc. Had to do a lot of thinking, not sure which direction to go with many things, like massive PC issues last month/this month. Fixed that, fortunately. Anyways, I decided I want to keep giving my channel all I can, so I will be doing that.

With that all being said, I really appreciate those that have stayed supporting during this time, because frankly it’s helped tons.

The plan is to RESUME HxH reactions, hopefully getting ep 16 up this weekend. I also am very much considering starting a new series now that Haikyuu is completed. I have a few in mind, such as Frieren, for example. What series would you like me to bring to the channel? Preferably something not shonen (since I’m doing HxH already) and also something rather shorter, like 25 eps or less I’d say for now. Solo Leveling is up in the air right now, I enjoy the series but the videos might not be worthwhile unfortunately.

Thanks so much again, sorry for the disappointing start to this year, life is crazy and really really really difficult sometimes.
