Did you know Natalie Imbruglia wasn’t the original singer of Torn? Yeah, I think my head exploded the day I found that out! Torn was my go to angsty, scream at the world song!! “It was first recorded in 1993 in Danish (renamed "Brændt", Danish for "Burnt") by Danish singer Lis Sørensen, then in 1994 by Cutler and Preven's American rock band Ednaswap, and in 1996 by American-Norwegian singer Trine Rein. "Torn" is best known as Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia's 1997 debut single.”

Not a favorite Rachel song of mine, but I knew she would sound great because the og singers voice sounds very similar to Leas voice. In this song at least. Also the 2 harmonies could represent her innocent and younger self compared to her grown-up self. It also makes for a better harmony.
