Koko

Yea watch out for the Mean Weene!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Dark Water is terrible, no matter what body of water it is in. This episode 👎🏼 no. Awww, Weenie was fired up. 💥 She was all in protective mode 👊🏼, defending you against the mean screen 💻 👀🤔. So sweet.💛 The woman in this episode Amy Acker is Winifred “Fred” Burkle aka Illyria in Angel and Whiskey aka Dr. Claire Saunders in Dollhouse with Eliza Dushku. Eliza Dushku stars in Buffy TVS and Angel as Faith. She plays Echo aka Caroline Farrell in Dollhouse. Buffy TVS(1997), Angel(1999) and Dollhouse(2009) all have the same creator. Please do a watch party 👀🎉 for Dollhouse, it is only two seasons and super awesome.

Koko

yeah a lake is pretty dark its got muck and even when ur swiming u stir stuff up. my parents have had a summer camp site on a lake since i was 7. its fun but yes it is pretty dark especially when u stir the muck up. but yeah realisticlly that water is darker then ive ever seen probably 2 add 2 the "scary" factor.

Heather Hannigan

Um, yeah. I would not survive (without a loooooot of benzos and even that's uncertain). My friend used to tease me about Bloody Mary, but we never did it. She still sends me meme about it any time she sees something. Idk, it's also always weird fear that like you're reflection is going to do something you're not. Like in horror movies when the reflection turns its head or you lean down and it doesn't etc. Nope! No, ty. If you're watching them sequentially you should hit it then I think!

ashinscribbleland

I'm not saying they're good, but they're definitely... something.... (the first one isn't awful but idek what to say about the other)... There are 2 Xena musical episodes. I think me and my best friend might be the only ones interested, but they're definitely weird and fun. Dollhouse was def different. I had mixed feels at first, then really started to like it, and then ugh just disappointed it got canceled. Whedin (Buffy, Dollhouse, Firefly, etc) started a show called The Nevers that was super good, but then he got in trouble and they canceled it ugh. I heard they're going to wrap it up, but not sure when

ashinscribbleland

Yea go me! I remmebered someone from a show without Danny! hahah! yea I binge watched dollhuose. I found it so unusual and interesting. Ive done some musical episodes on my YT channel and I'll probably go back to it at some point

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

I had to look up what Palmetto bugs are. Basically theyre cockroaches it looks like. You wouldnt like it here in Thailand since theyre HUGE and everywhere. They even eat them! maybe its an old trama from Bloody Mary int he mirror as a kid? I do plan on watching four more episodes of supernatural but then I'm done with watch parties for it. I have a lot of things to watch as is.

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Don't have a fear or phobia of dark water. Probably bc I grew up in FL. This is going to so so backwoods awful, but like there was a lake I learned to swim in--all the kids did. (Which we were like twenty minutes from the beach and like either you had a pool or you had three friends with pools. But this lake, it was brackish water and in FL if there's a body of water there's a good chance there's a gator. They literally had a rope with bouys on it that we weren't allowed to to swim past bc you know... the gator only stayed on that side? (wth adults???). I loved to be in water all the time as a kid. Lakes, baths, pools, the river. Even the ocean, although ugh I'm not wild about the beaches bc ... sand. I do however, have two big fears. One is a legit phobia of palmetto bugs. I will break out into tears and start to like dry heave and it's not pretty... like big time anxiety attack with heart racing etc. I've never liked them, but like you were saying with the water... it's definitely something that's gotten worse over time. And exposure therapy is not helpful. I just cannot.... Other big fear, but not phobia, is mirrors. Like during the day and stuff I'm fine. At night I'm mostly fine as long as I don't think about it or look into them. I don't know what it was that started this whole thing, but they scare the shit out of me at night. I can be in the same room with them and stuff, but like.... do not look! (Oddly enough, I am a *HUGE* Alice in Wonderland/Through the looking glass fan--my brain, I don't know). I'm wondering if you're going to keep going with these. I know there's been a lot of real life stuff that's been huge going on with you, but ugh I was really hoping you'd gotten to the Bloody Mary episode (5 I think?). Bc I was so excited to see your reaction. I don't think I slept the night I watched it? But that was me and mirrors. *shrugs* I definitely came for the musicals, but I love all the commentary on the other stuff too. It's super fun to watch. You won't remember this, but when you were doing a live stream while driving I brought up MST3K (Mystery Science Theater 3000) and you remembered it! I was so stoked bc no one remembers that. (Some of the guys from that have done some ridiculous movies under their new thing called Rifftrax--talk about some wild movies.) Anyway these are so much fun in a similar way (except you're nicer <3 ). (Can you tell I've been binging everything for like a week or two now? I have no idea how long).

ashinscribbleland

I'm not even finished watching the episode, but I had to pause bc omg you recognized Amy Acker (the mom of the little boy) right away *and* knew the name of the show she was on. I love it! I may have clapped.... and woken up my best friend.... oops? Also, love that you watched and liked dollhouse. Her character made me feel all the angst. I *think* I saw something about you considering rewatching Buffy? (I could be wrong, I have a terrible memory when it comes to certain things. I can legit remember the most bizarre small details or actors or names or idk weird trivia facts, but every day stuff? lololol nope). Anyway, back to my original point, she was on a few episodes of Buffy as well and then crossed over into Angel. I watched Buffy for a while when it was on air, but didn't finish it (or Angle) until like... idk, five? seven? ten? years ago? Ever plan on doing just random musical episodes from shows? Like not musical shows, but those random episodes that it seems like soooooo many shows do? mk, back to the episode....

ashinscribbleland

So I’m pretty sure the reason Dean connects with Lucas so well is because when his mother died he didn’t talk or hardly talked for a while too I’m so glad you’re enjoying this show so far, it definitely gives you the creeps but it’s still so good

Laura

Kinda like X-Files style

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Yea it's weird how fears can be like that. I KNOW it's perfectly safe but my body still says HELL NO!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

hahaah! Go Weenie haha!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Non-spoiler answers to your questions/comments: - Oh yeah, you don't like dark water, do you? Ha, you're not going to like this one then lol. - Even though he doesn't seem the type, this episode shows that Dean is actually really good with kids. - Off-topic: Weenie barking when the son put his hand in the muddy sink water made me flinch 😅 - Omg, the fact that you figured out what happened so early in the episode, not even quite halfway in (it wasn't a chick they killed, but still, pretty much bang on lmao). - Heh, I hope you watch the gag reels as well, there's a funny blooper in there from the scene where Bill's boat gets blown out of the water. Even though it's meant to be a serious scene, I can't help but snort thinking about it every time lol. If you do watch it, just remember Jared and Jensen had only known each other for a few weeks at this point, and they were already this comfortable with each other XD

Beeba Smith

Inevitably, no matter how tough you think you are, Supernatural will capitalize on your greatest fear. It’s what they do lol. I hope you’re enjoying so far 😀

Stacey Kleinendorst

So Supernatural definitely does the “freak of the week” formula for most episodes the first few seasons but then it changes slightly as storylines develop. This season there are more plot developments for sure as the season goes on. I think that’s interesting that your phobia is this dark water. There is an episode in this season that has my biggest phobia that I literally skip on my rewatches (though I will force myself to watch with you). In episode 4 you actually get to learn Dean’s biggest phobia and Sam’s you find out much later on in the show. Can’t wait to see more.

Christina Brown

Oh it was for the trailer! Thought you reacted to the og animated film 🤦🏻‍♂️

Zach Davis

I love Amy Acker. She's in Angel too (which is the spinoff of Buffy) and she is SO good. I'm terrified of any water I can't see the bottom of tbh. I loved vacationing in Canada cause the water was so blue. The episodes are very much 'monster of the week' which is a similar feel that you'll get from Buffy. The main plot is introduced at the beginning and slowly worked in through monster of the week episodes until BAM you get smacked with the entire plot during the back half LOL

Cory James

I actually have a phobia of baths and being in any body of water without another adult in the water with me. Like I absolutely won’t do a bath if it’s deeper than my ankles. I just can’t. It started out as an odd combination of living in FL and swimming out pretty far near a peer then seeing a fisherman reel in a shark good size shark from the shore later the same day, a spider coming out of the bath faucet while I was in there, paranoia, and thinking a shark was gonna come out of the side of the bath tub to get me. It has really just festered and gotten so much worse over the last 25 years. Knowing it’s mostly irrational and not being able to shake it is just no fun.

Yes!!! Screw that ride!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

I believe the ride you’re talking about before it became a Nemo rude, was a 20,000 leagues under the sea themed ride. I forgot how good this show was, when it was more of a brother road trip show. It kinda changes when the show goes on.

Zach Davis

Watching now! Wait, Audrey reacted to the little mermaid? I need to watch this! Link please 😁❤️😁
