I had Old MacDonald sung to me

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

I bet there are other people here who had " Sandra Dee " sung at them in the halls as a form of bulling like t happened to me . 🥲compassion to those of you who were also triggered by the song.

sou said everyone in ameriaca bc shes filming everything and put chips in their heads to see dream sequences

I guess it depends on if Kurt is over his relationship or not. It seems to me like he isn’t but who knows. Sometimes talking to the other person and hearing their side will help to solidify his ending feelings. But in the end it is his choice. Brody seems like a good rebound friend with benefits but anything beyond that seems unlikely at this moment. If she doesn’t have that clear in her mind then it could get way messy! For me it feels like she wanted him as a new boyfriend, which I think is a bad idea. However it’s glee so who knows how the characters may change within one episode 😆

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Yea there’s been a good amount of chatter about it in the threads. I’ve been trying to keep it limited because it could easily take over 😂

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

omg she's is more stunning with age!!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

First, Kate Hudson has to be one of the sexiest people on the planet seriously 😩 Second, I don’t usually watch this episode, but I enjoy your reactions and I like to hear your opinions on important subjects when they arise. This episode is kind of triggering, but there are worse ones for me later on (next few really) but it’s ok. I feel better not watching it by myself

Not sure if anyone let you in on the irl relationship between Marley and Ryder but it really sucked. Sometimes knowing the backstage info on the cast makes watching the stuff they do really hard. I am gonna reply to this with my full comment when I finish watching this but I just had to say lol

Honestly I don’t think Kurt is in the wrong for not allowing Blaine to tell him what went on and how it didn’t mean anything. All Blaine is trying to do is justify his actions and absolve himself of some of the pain he caused himself by cheating in Kurt. Kurt has a right to walk away. What would Kurt do with the information but dwell on it and depress himself over the details. That’s not fair to him. Blaine’s the one who messed up and he needs to feel the pain of that. As for the Rachel/Brody/Cassandra situation. I don’t think she’s crying solely over the fact that Brody slept with Cassie. I think it’s more to do with the fact that she was getting close with him as friends that would most likely develop into something more. I think she’s hurt that her dance teacher would be so vindictive towards her for no real true good reason. She hasn’t done anything to warrant this behavior from Cassie (except to have talent and promise and her whole career ahead of her). It’s high school all over again. Yes she likes Brody and yes part of her tears are obviously over him but also, they have a lot to do with Cassie being a bitch for no reason. One last thing. People seem to have issues with the og members coming back around often. It’s a real thing especially in theatre/music clubs. I was in drama and we came back for rehearsals and to help out back stage all the time. You never fully leave a group like that their your family even if there’s new members you don’t know. How are you going to get to know them if you don’t come back. Their part of the family too.

watching again!! I'm addicted TO GLEE!!

Linda

More Sam for me, please!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

I need the OG glee club back for more episodes!!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

I definitely agree. Tina obviously put in work to step in last minute (learning lines, figuring out costume logistics, etc.). It's a good experience for the Glee kids to know how to cover for others like in the real theater world -- where there is less of a chance of having someone who can jump in so easily.

i personally think that as glee fans it's great having Santana as Rizzo, and Mike/Mercedes helping with the play, but in real life it's a bit depressing how these people are supposed to be out of high school, in university, and are quick to come back to help the glee club? like it's embarrassing, go start your life please haha also for the Santana thing, it's very disrespectful to Tina or any other glee club that could have played the role... it's always nice to see Naya, Amber and Harry, but the way they're coming back to McKinley is a bit awkward and it looks like the "you peaked in high school" meme.. at least for these storylines!

Oh, in "The one that I love" we can hear some Brittana and Klaine in the chorus, "you're the one that I love...Oooo, Ooo, Ooooo". The camera is not always in synch when they sing bbut if you pay attention you can hear them, especially Santana's and Kurt's vocals. Santana does like a flip/squeak when she sings "the one that I want, honey!".

Capri Zonica

Kurt and Rachel to Blaine and Finn "Oh, I didn't know you were here...in you own High school production of Grease. Awkward. Stop harrasing me". Santana to Brittany: "I only came here so I could see you". Mercedes there for just one scene and she just disappears although we can get a glimpse of her on stage doing "you're the one that I want" with Artie but the camera avoiding her at all costs. I wanted to see more of the og's onstage. Sadly, there's not even bts content. I loved Marley as Sandy. Santana with curly hair...Yes.

Capri Zonica

For the Kurt thing, the breakup I think happened not to long ago and he has a habit of putting his walls up in situations like this to protect himself, but they do talk it out in episode 8. Also I think the writers wanted to make the storyline last longer. BTW, this is not the last we see or hear Brody. He’s around for at least half of this season.

Selma Jabr

In the near future both Rachel/Finn and Kurt/Blaine will have the much needed talk, the breakups are still really fresh at the moment.

Gigi

Watching Audrey crushing on Sam is so funny 😂

Sabrina Louis

You should do a watch party with Grease Live. It was in 2016 & live on tv & it was pretty good.

Jackie Warner

Great Reaction! This is why we didn't get the Grease songs for their auditions because they didn't want to repeat the songs too much and we get more content from the cast which I don't mind. I also like how they interwove the story with the plotline and how they brought some of the OGs back. As much as I wished they would have had Unique play Rizzo, I'm not mad about Santana coming back and taking over the role. She is the perfect Rizzo if you ask me. I kept flashing back to when the cast did Summer Nights. I would have loved to see Sam play Danny, but they were really pushing the Ryder/Marley/Jake love triangle at this time, so it fit better with the storyline to have it this way. And we have to remember that this episode aired in 2012 and Glee really was ahead of its time when addressing things like transgender issues. I know there's a lot of criticism about how they handled it, but at the same time society was also really starting to tackle these issues at the forefront and so I get why they had Unique's parents react the way they did. They did live in conservative small town Ohio and so I think that it had more impact and was a bit closer to reality to have them react this way. They are all teenagers still and dealing with the breakups that are still so fresh, so most of their reactions track with how teenagers would react. I always keep that in mind. I was glad that they actually had Mike and Tina address their breakup and that they are actually taking steps to maybe be friends again. It makes sense since their breakup was earlier than all the others. And I love a good meta scene where the characters are watching (imagining) themselves on stage. It really was a full circle moment and it was great to see them use footage from the pilot. These characters are all great and so close to our hearts that they all deserve room to grow and find out about themselves without the constraints of being in a relationship.

Gemma Rivera

Nah, I am totally with Kurt on this one. He thought he was ready because of course he still loves Blaine somehow, but a person you trusted cheated on you. That's not something you want to talk about. Give him some time. The trust in one person doesn't come back easy.Though I always thought it was funny how Blaine was like "I'm lonely", "We're so far away from each other", but the second he cheated he can travel to Kurt to 'surprise' him. Should have done it in the first place instead of cheating, just saying 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

re: what Sue said in Figgins' office about Mr. Schue's idea (of having Finn take over Glee club) appearing "completely ridiculous to everyone in America except him"... The show was self-aware enough that the writers often brought in things that fans were saying about the show into the dialogue (usually by Brittany or Sue). It sometimes seems strange and out of context but they either address or answer/assuage what the fans are saying through those conduits. It works perfectly through those characters because Brittany & Sue exist in their own planes of reality, (where they are both a part of and observing the show as it unfolds).

This was a fun episode! I loved seeing the production numbers and the dream sequence is so fun! I really hated Kitty for a long time after this episode for what she did to Marley, and that Unique’s parents weren’t fully supportive of her (I do get that there was a fear of her getting harassed though). I agree with you about how communication is so critical in a relationship, and while I didn’t like that Kurt and Blaine didn’t talk, I felt like it was more that Kurt *thought* he was ready to confront the issue, but seeing Blaine again, he realized he wasn’t ready and that’s valid too. Don’t worry though, SJP will help Kurt get sorted a bit better on that front soon enough.

Jennifer Adame

finn and rachel singing you’re the one that i want is so important cause it’s the first song they ever sang together i love when they do callbacks to earlier seasons

fry

i love darren’s version of beauty school dropout so much

fry

Oh damn a Glee drop on Thursday hell yeah!!😄👍🏾

Manfred

I cringed so hard when Ryder kissed Marley. It’s hard to separate the actor and the character as a an abuse survivor.

Alex Densmore

It must've been a long time since I've rewatched Glee cause I started tearing up 😭😥 during that scene where Rachel and Finn start singing😅

Michaela Evans

was not expecting this to be on my page this early today but I was so happy
