You were confused because you thought is it until like super popular why would she sing Adele? But I think she was singing it because the song is about neglect and she’s kind of neglected by Will, because he’s not really in it for her. He loves Emma and Holly knew that.

2023-01-15 12:24:04 +0000 UTCSo I’m not sure if Audrey is going to come back and read these comments but I just wanted to say…..Holly sang the Adle song because it was a song of neglect (the theme didn’t necessarily have to do with the artist). Also she was singing to Will she was telling him that she won’t let him get close enough to hurt her. She knew that he loved someone else and since her feelings were obviously getting stronger she had to stop it before it went too far.
