Degrassi is great! A bit of a long haul, but definitely worth it. If you were finding it too much you could always do season 1-7 or just seasons 10-14 as they’re different characters. There’s some ongoing references you might miss but other than that they serve pretty well as seperate shows, with 8 and 9 kinda bridging the gap between them.
