I think River Deep, Mountain High is always gonna be my favourite (I even did a dance to it with the other bridesmaids at my brother's wedding!) but I love Happy Days/Get Happy and even Sing with Tina and Mike is really fun.

Lea and Cory were such a fun duo on screen and I love their scheming in this episode. River Deep, Mountain High is the best duet this episode, I agree with the majority but I also really loved Happy Days/Get Happy. Those two were enjoyable both on screen and in person in Glee Live. Overall this is another favorite from season 2 because you get to hear from everyone. Oh, can’t forget about Le Jazz Hot, it was the first number they shot in their auditorium built at the paramount lot. Prior to this, auditorium shoots were done at a high school off set.

I love both of Kurt's songs in this episode, I feel you can really hear the improvement in his voice from s1 and he definitely just gets more powerful as the seasons progress. As far as I know the actor Chris, was still only about 18/19 when they were filming these episodes and 18 in s1

2022-03-08 02:27:43 +0000 UTCSo Mark Salling (Puck) was not on this episode or the next one which is rocky Horror I believe, because he was doing something with his own music career, something like that. I loved the Mike Tina duet the most on this one. It was cute as hell and let's just say Mike can sing, he just doesn't show it fully yet for a little more time. I think he had a solo in season 3 a few times. and he has a duet with Artie later in this season. Wait for Funeral which is the second to last show to see Rachel sing another Barbra song which she (Lea) actually sang live for Barbra shortly after. One of the toughest songs to sing from what I've heard. Are you skipping Rocky Horror, (The next show) you already reviewed? The show after that is when Puck returns it's one of those mash-off shows. I think that's when Blaine arrives. This season 2, it's much more exciting than the last one, and pretty much all of them honestly. I hope Danny comes back soon for the episode after never been kissed, We get Holly Holliday,

2022-03-08 00:12:16 +0000 UTCExactly Audrey, Artie could've said no since Brittany literally said "for a duet, were gonna do it". No foul play there. Writers often forget their own storylines. Santana was super mean this episode but I love it. Everybody did great but to top Santana and Mercedes energy was going to be impossible. Mike and Tina's performance was very creative so both were my picks. Too bad Brittany and Artie didn't perform and too bad Santana panicked and dismissed Britt for a duet because we know they can kill it together.

Eric Stoltz, the director of this episode said that he made Naya and Amber and Jenna and Harry do take after take of their numbers and he admired their work ethic because both were high energy numbers (for Naya and Harry especially) and they nailed every take even though he knew they were exhausted.

My favorite cover from this episode is easily "River Deep, Mountain High". Covers where Naya and Amber did duets or were a part of group performances together are easily some of my favorite covers from Glee.
