Marvel's Midnight Suns - HDR Optimized Settings

The game is NOT using/applying Xbox/Playstation HDR Calibration app settings.

The game has an average HDR implementation with a fixed and not adjustable Peak HDR Luminance around 1.000 nits in-game and 400 nits during CGI cutscenes.

For this reason, Dynamic Tone Mapping is recommended in order to avoid both losing highlights' detail in-game and an overly dim picture during cutscenes.

UPDATE:

Apparently, the PC version actually has in-game HDR settings as follows.

These can probably land on consoles too in the future:

If you have an LG OLED and:

> you're using Dynamic Tone Mapping or Dynamic Contrast:

> you're using HGIG:

If you don't have an LG OLED and:

> you don't have an HGIG option:

> you're using HGIG:

Thanks to dreamsnow for the PC heads-up!

Should ui brightess be default in hdr section

Well, in this case try: -Min Luminance: .000 -Mid Luminance (Default) -Max Luminance: 800 (for HGIG) or 4.000 (for DTM or Dynamic Contrast: On)

Just uploaded it - a couple sliders here, messing around with them, thanks for looking into it! https://i.imgur.com/R2xvwoz.jpg

I didn't test it on PC. Could you post me a screenshot of what values you can set there?

Just wondering - on PC, there are sliders for Min, Mid and Max luminance? Any of these values correspond properly with different setups?
