The game DOES USE/APPLY Xbox & Playstation HDR Calibration app settings.
Metro Exodus is one of the very few games actually leveraging system-wide HDR settings, but it also offers additional controls for Gamma correction.
Leave Gamma to Middle (Default) as it already corresponds to a balanced/correct exposure for this game.
