January and February Updates

Hello hello folks.

Mid January already! Woop woop. My life is an ever trudging enterprise, rarely stopping to smell the roses. Very much feels like I am being chased by the mech spider from Wild, Wild West, that terrible film.

So, updates:

1. Traveling

I am away for three weeks due to work and a little bit of rest.

I am a workaholic, and find it very difficult to tune out unless I go to the middle of nowhere. Starting tomorrow I will be away from my drawing tablet.

2. Commissions

If you've commissioned me before, you know that I may take ages to get to it but I will definitely do it. In time.

Any sketch token commissions or external commissions will be delivered in February once I come back and catch up with things here. The best way to get in touch with me about these is through PMs and email.

3. Short stories

When I travel I still take my laptop and come up with new ideas.

Some may take place one day (got a comic idea about a widowed horseman living in the rural tropics being chased by the local "bruja" healer for sex), others are more direct.

So expect new stories and finished old stories once I come back. Which takes me to:

4. Short Story Collection

I've been writing since 2009. I've written a lot of stories, some of which were forcefully unpublished from Tumblr recently. I have had a mission to publish a short story collection, illustrated, for a long time.

I've been working on exclusive new illustrations for some of my stories, as well as a couple of never-before-seen short stories. If I manage to finish this last illustration today, that means I'll be able to work on the .pdf version of the collection over the next three weeks. So know that this will be my next product!
