But, finally, here it is. I believe it speaks for itself, but I would LOVE to know what you think of it. I am particularly proud of how it came out.
Oh, and you can take a look at the process here. Originally I was going to make the final a bit more garish and carnavalesque, but I couldn't quite get the fluffy noodle thing around her arms to work. You can also note that we were going to have a transparent skirt, but a friend pointed out that someone in this cutie's predicament may be more comfortable with shorts at that particular juncture.
Afterwards, of course, came the lineart. Knowing I would not be messing around too much, I did a single lineart file for everything. This is the lineart before certain corrections, like the facial expression and the shorts. I wanted to go with an awkward, I am still not converted look but, woah, fresh eyes really saved me from ugliness here.
