Hello! I have some news & updates to share with you.

It’ll be a lot of yapping but nothing super important so feel free to skip this one, I’ll have more art to share soon 🐸💚

Discord Server:

 I made a discord server!

Lately, I’ve been spending most of my time on Discord, we talk about various anime and games on there, share memes, repost cute pics (and yeah, share lewd art too)

I’ll have some more tier-specific roles and stuff soon. Any important business-related announcements will still be based here on Patreon but yeah, if you want to socialise & hang out feel free to join!

Apple & Patreon app news:

If you’re on a iOS device, I HIGHLY recommend using web browser!

There’s some upcoming Apple app store changes happening very soon. Because of the iOS app store, Apple will be taking 30% of the payment (patreon only takes 8% before taxes)

As such, the payments you will see on the app (for most creators unless they’ve chosen to eat the fee themselves) will be higher.

The example they gave was a creator Tier for $10 on Web will cost $14.50 on the App. Your money will be much better use spent on supporting more creators than in Apple’s pockets!

If you are on a iOS device, I’d recommend using web browsers for anything over apps since you have more privacy and can use adblockers. If you’re reading this on the iOS app, here’s the browser link to my patreon:

Patreon subscription billing:

In addition; To comply with new Apple requirements, Patreon is forcing everyone switch to subscription billing.

Rather than paying on the 1st of the month, you will now be charged on the day you subscribe.

(It won’t affect anyone who subscribed before November 2024 though, since you’ll still be charged on the 1st of the month.)

Bluesky:

Apparently the TOS has changed on Twitter so anything you now post on there can be used by them for whatever they want, including AI training. This doesn’t sit right with me or most creators.

I won’t be completely abandoning Twitter, but I’ll be trying to phase out what I post there, since that site seems to get worse and worse by the minute.

I’m now on Bluesky if you want to follow me on there, and you can follow me on Patreon too of course, or now you can join the Discord server I’ve linked above.

Why Bluesky and not cara/threads/mastodon? Well, it’s not perfect either, but it does allow NSFW content which works for me. Hopefully once more and more people join it’ll be a good alternative to Twitter!
