Have you been looking into any of the strange links generally here? He seemed to be in Glasgow along with half the other sex offenders and murderers for a while, and then there is this... that is seemingly forgotten now about the case : https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-36211639 I don't think a body was found, but the postcard (at least to my eyes) seems to suggest that the canals may have been used to dispose of bodies (bait... friendly wildlife etc...). May be too deep down the worm hole on this one , but I've always believed there was far more went on at Cromwell St than we were led to believe.
