2021 Astro Awards SURVEY!

It's time to vote for the most impactful, important and incredible (III) mission / events of 2021!!! Remember two things: We want things that aren't just "cool" but more "impactful". So IMO, Starship SN15 landing was about as cool as it gets, but in the grand scheme of importance, it's not very important. And actually similar for JWST launch, the launch itself is not the big milestone for JWST, but once it begins its mission, it will easily be one of the most important things ever, but we don't want to celebrate just the start of the journey!

Ok, enough yab yab! Please fill this survey out everyone!!! Let me know if you think we missed anything of extreme importance!

So Many mars missions and so much spaceX. Love the pace that spaceX is working at.

JWST last on my list. Would have been impactful if launched 10 years ago. With Elon looking for multiple 150T payloads to launch next year (including a rumoured terrestrial telescope) I can't think of anything more impactful (long and short term) than starship and it reaching/passing each development stage. So Starship #1 and I4 #2.

Inspiration 4 was very impactful to many more than the space community. I think the reach of the coverage got a lot more attention and impacted more people than most other events. The Netflix mini-series was awesome! #2

Same. Followed by Perseverance.

I put jwst first and sn15 second

Had to put Tiangong first. To finally have a second operational space station is just amazing.
