Jon being King in the north, makes the north an independent kingdom. If he bends all that goes away, his people will likely turn on him and it means he has to join Danys war and she controls him and the north. So bending the knee is a big deal, he wont be king if he bends and why should he, Dany has huge ego and if she's really for the people and not the throne more, she should want to help, and could possibly earn loyalty and respect from the north. It includes her people and kingdoms too, she should work with Jon. Love the callback too how Dany notices a similarity between Jon and Rhaegar, how they both were good at fighting/killing, but didnt enjoy it.

2022-05-05 20:00:25 +0000 UTCThe big wolf was Nymeria. :-) When she walked away and Arya said "That's not you", she was referencing her own words to Ned when he said she'd grow up to marry a Lord and have lots of babies. She told him "That's not me.". She meant that coming to Winterfell again as a pet wasn't what Nymeria was meant to be.
