EYE also celebrated that the bodies were of the farm boys lmao! gotta take your W's when you can with this show. Stannis knows king landing because prior to the start of the show Stannis was on the small council as master of ships. He was actually the first one who noticed the blond hair kids and asked Jon Aryn to investigate. then when Jon Aryn died, Stannis knew something was up and just peaced out with the whole royal fleet to dragonstone. he's is not the most likable guy but Stannis is pretty smart. can't wait for the next one!

Ned sent a man named Beric dondarrion and his soldiers to capture the mountain and bring him to justice. After Ned died Beric set up the brotherhood so that they could continue Ned’s order to them. That’s why the men at harrenhal kept torturing the people for information about the brotherhood. Also you will meet Beric dondarrion next season

The comment below well explains Neds connection with the brotherhood. The other part is that they worship the lord of light, the same god as Melisandre and Stanis. Cant wait to watch episode 9 with you. It's a mega episode.
