Kordi's lore + refs

So, I've made a lore sheet for those who follow not only the pictures, but also the stories :) (the file is big, so I've added it as a file, too)

It was high time to do this as it's probably not clear for my watchers what is going on here and how it all works! I briefly described the world, Kordi's biography, and the non-canonical stuff with her. Her story is quite simple, as both the character and the entire setting are more focused on erotica and kinks, rather than on an epic plot. I'll make another sheet for Vera soon!

And the new refs: I continue to think over designs for my Sleepy Lake project. The first ref is Sabine Atton. I am not putting any information about these characters yet, because I would like it to be revealed in the course of the future plot! And also a character for the second story, whose design I was not happy with! (and even now I don't think it's final). But at least she came up with a name - Sofia.

The world Kordi lives in.

The setting in which Kordi and her friends exist is inspired by the music of the retrowave genre. It represents a recent modern world (the 2000s to 2010s) but with an aesthetic reminiscent of the 80s. This means that many items have contemporary functionality but appear as though they were made in the 80s. Kordi and her friends live in the city of... Iskracity (ha-ha), a metropolis with a vibrant city center and many residential areas. Kordi is an anthropomorphic member of the felis species, while in her country, anthropomorphs of the canis and vulpis species are also common (these species can interbreed, but chimeras are extremely rare because offspring typically completely inherit traits from one parent). In the modern world, these species get along very well. In the northern reaches of their world, tribes of giants of the ursa lineage reside, along with semi-intelligent monsters that pose a danger to anthropomorphs (they do not interbreed with felis, canis, and vulpis). The south, in contrast, is inhabited by tiny creatures of the mus and sciurus lineages (they can interbreed among themselves but not with larger species). Throughout history, these small beings have been the most vulnerable, but now they are well-protected with advanced technologies that are unavailable to the larger species. In Iskracity, both large and small anthropomorphs are rarely encountered, but perhaps the heroes will meet them yet!

Kordi's relationships with other characters.

Kordi's parents were overly protective, and she spent most of her school life being homeschooled. Her main pastime was drawing everything she saw. Kordi also has a cousin and her only childhood friend, Veta, who unfortunately lived very far from Iskracity. In high school, she joined her peers, but due to a lack of social skills, she was unable to make friends, preferring passive observation of people over direct interaction. This continued after Kordi entered university; however, there she met someone similar to her — Alister — and they formed a kind of friends-with-benefits relationship. Unfortunately, after being expelled from university, Alister disappeared from Kordi's life, leaving her alone once more. After finishing university, she began working as an artist. Later, Kordi's sister, Veta, moved to the city. Due to Veta's busyness with her three jobs, the sisters rarely see each other, but when they do, they have a great time! Through Veta, Kordi once meets her friend and roommate, Valentina, but they never became friends. Later, Kordi's long-time acquaintance Alister returns to her life, and they establish a new level of relationship. Through Alister, Kordi meets his sister Katrina and her friend Atina. Atina develops a strong fondness for Kordi and initiates a friendship. Thanks to Atina's social skills, activity, and empathy, she and Kordi become close friends, helping Kordi emerge from her social vacuum and engage more frequently with others. Becoming more open, Kordi makes new friends; for instance, during her journey to a neighboring country, she meets another close friend of hers—Elska. Later, Kordi moves out of her parents' house to a rented room that Katrina is leasing, and then Valentina joins them. This is the present moment in Kordi's story.

Non-canonical works.

The comic "Just a Friend" is the first exploration of Kordi's relationship with her first partner, which I later decided to significantly revise. Gakor serves as the prototype for Alister. Additionally, some commissioned works are not considered canon within the story.
