Where we're at December 2024

Hey everyone! We are just getting ready to close off another great quimbly year! There's been some fantastic community events this year we've had the pleasure of hosting alongside major game progress.


THE FATTY RPG:

The Fatty RPG actually has a basic playable demo and from that state we already fixed plenty of bugs and added new features that are not present in that update from your feedback so for that I thank you.

The new features we will be showing next month are as follows:

-Enemy ridgedbodies now fly when hit with weapons
-enemies get faster as they get damaged
-There is now a slime boss enemy that spawns in the north

-There have been multiple dialog inprovements
-Quests now save

-You can now save but it will only save quest progress and player location

Things we're going to be doing:

-Giving DEB's castle an interior
-fleshing out DEB's quest
-Moar Bellies

-Saving player built buildings and NPC locations

Stuff is looking pretty good at the moment and progress is happening swiftly and daily


Project: Quimbly

Quimbly is going through some save system improvements that will hopefully fix a lot of the crashes and errors you guys have been having. We also have been beefing up the inflation dates/sex scripts and I am pretty happy at how some are coming out. Progress however has been slowed by us trying to judge the gamejam and the release of the FattyRPG we should be able to get back to work fulltime after the winners of the jam have been picked and prizes have been shipped.
