I gotta second Ghosty here: The pressure element and how much it hits close to home and how it feels to be in this situation makes it painfully relatable but also gives a very sweet ad understanding resolution to everything which I love quite a bit. This is great and both relatable and comforting to see unfold. This comic's been great, Kad, and this spoke volumes. ;v;

The peer pressure to be like her coworkers and friends is probably also a severe contributor to her general-interaction anxiety, the daily "Oh you like that particular band?" conversation that has nothing to do with relationships. It'll be interesting to see whether Dynamite can be more relaxed in public after this when all is said and done.

2020-08-30 23:24:46 +0000 UTCAs dumb as it sounds I appreciate dynamites depiction with the pressure from work and folks that are your family essentially making you feel you have to get into a relationship right away well into your twenties because your body is only getting older and it'll get harder. Heck her jumping into Rory so readily kind of cements what that pressure does to us. That the first bit of comfort you get you want to immediately dig your claws into to relieve that pressure and feel normal. So to have that apology given , that feels like a weight off the readers shoulders to anyone that needed to hear that

The last panels do make Glitter’s remark about them being a family in an earlier ask page really ring true. Hell, it got Night and Diamond to indirectly agree on something.

2020-08-30 22:30:02 +0000 UTCMe: So Rory and Dynamite had conflated views of each other based on their appearances and occupations, and this is related to Dynamite rushing to date Rory despite not really knowing him very well. This is because Dynamite feels anxiety and peer pressure to be like her co-workers/friends because they're all in long term relationships, which is something I hinted at all the way back to page 3 of the comic. Comments: Oh Puzzle. Sometimes I REALLY resent that character.
