Some Numbers

Hi everyone! Already three months have passed since the release of Chapter1. It seems like a lot of time, and you might wonder why it's taking so long for the new chapter.  But before we jump into the explanations, let us tell you, the release of Chapter2 is near!

As you might know, we are a team of two, and we are doing it as a hobby.  That means we can only dedicate our free time to the project and we have other compromises with our families that we have to keep as well. So it's a tough balance.

But we love to do this project, especially after all the great feedback we got from Chapter1.  We want to make this game because we want you to have a good time when you play, and we want you to have a good experience, without thinking, "oh, there is a bug," "this looks terrible," "there is a mistake here," and so on. In a nutshell, we want to deliver a quality experience, and this takes time. We are very demanding with ourselves.  And we are decided to do a great and funny game.

And chapter 2 has to be great. So we made some quick numbers and here is some reason why it is taking us so long:

We are not going to compare the number of backgrounds because the number is probably two or three times bigger than the number we had in Chapter1. The same thing could apply to the dialogues. And on top of that, we changed the engine for a better one so you will have great features to enjoy the game.

So those  are some reasons for why is taking us so long. Hopefully, one day, we can make this our full-time job, and we will be able to invest more hours every week. But until then, we won't risk rushing the process to damage the game and your experience. So bear with us and enjoy the ride!
