Added 2025-04-11 16:00:17 +0000 UTCI need to know if any of you were a part of the group of people who were upset about the casting for this show. And if so, why? I'm genuinely curious because I think, so far, these actors are doing a great job at bringing these characters to life.

mm that tracks. I think as long as someone brings the character's personality and what makes them special to life well I have zero complaints. The only time I'm upset when a character's ethnicity is changed is when it's blatantly obvious that it was a casting done to check off a DEI box and say "See, look! We aren't racist!" I also find any complaint on Joel's daughter silly because we barely spend time with her in the game anyways (to be honest, I forgot what she looked like in the game)

2025-04-18 01:02:54 +0000 UTClove the casting, everyone in this show was perfect and really brought their character to life. i think some of the people who had casting issues were just bigots, like "why is joel's daughter black now?" kinda idiots. idk if i've ever heard someone have a valid casting complaint
