Love this series! You should try doing cheesecakes without a recipe! They can be super versatile and really any flavor profile you want (I made a Gingerbread Cheesecake and an Eggnog Cheesecake for Christmas this year)!

Whether itβs the dough (par-bake or no/oven temps can vary so widely/hot spots in oven/too much handling of the dough/blah blah blah) or filling (fruit - cooked before put in pie shell?/custard - eggs have to be tempered/again, blahblahblah). By now, recipes are more like guidelines (and to help you keep track of the temperatures). But even so, I have never made a pecan pie and I applaud Zach for taking on what is probably one of the harder pies in existence. Keep trying, Zach! You won't always be fourth place!!

I love the βcreditsβ, the random cat shots, the set, the high quality feel of the camerawork and editing, and the guysβ dynamic and reaction to making pies. More baking shows please! It would be great if they did a British-themed baking one in honour of GBBO. Preferably one that involve double entendres, like Chelsea buns, hot cross buns, jam tarts, etc...... In other words, more, more!
