What an amazing transformation! You both had a crazy year! I loved the bathroom floor tile for sure and the fact that you went for it and made the master a dream!

2018-12-17 20:24:10 +0000 UTCOmg! Absolutely love the whole house. Can you come to Dallas and help me decorate my new one? I love next week. 😂. Also need to know where you got the table you store beans toys in! A must for my 6 fur babies

2018-12-14 04:37:33 +0000 UTCThe kitchen / dining room / sitting room space is going to be PERFECT for entertaining! But my favorite part is the walk in closet. #closetgoals

2018-12-12 22:14:31 +0000 UTCAbsolutely. This blows my MIND.

2018-12-12 20:21:17 +0000 UTCAnd I think it's worth noting that "privileged" doesn't imply any kind of malice or even bad action. It's just a recognition of a status that is different from what other people experience, and that in some cases there are systemic injustices tied to that. It doesn't imply that the person with privilege is responsible for those injustices, it merely asks them to acknowledge the fact that they may exist.

2018-12-12 20:19:39 +0000 UTCI think the deck is my favorite, with the whole wall that opens? AMAZING.

2018-12-12 20:13:45 +0000 UTCOMG I LOOOOOOOVEDDDDD the nursery!!!! I think it was so well designed and has a lot of potential for Wes growing up!!! Good job guys. Looks AMAZING!!!! :)

2018-12-10 07:37:12 +0000 UTCWhat an incredible transformation! I think my #1 favorite design aspect is the herringbone tile in the hall bathroom with the cutout for shower supplies. My #1 favorite video aspect is Bean being knocked out on the couch xD I hoped everything turned out ok with those holes on the cabinet - my heart hurt for you there Ned. I've never lived in or near California but when I saw the big door in the kitchen all I could think was - bugs. It's beautiful though I hope my worry is misplaced.

2018-12-09 04:03:21 +0000 UTCCongratulations. I LOVE the built in bookshelves.

2018-12-08 22:41:54 +0000 UTCIt honestly dumbfounds me that at a certain point this year, Ned was having to deal with building a company with the rest of the guys, being a father, AND building a house basically from scratch. So impressed and proud of what they've done!
Zoe Lee
2018-12-08 07:24:29 +0000 UTCAriel I love the tiles! you guys have a beautiful home

2018-12-08 07:03:44 +0000 UTCI’ve a merchandising idea ... Brand name = Cera. Beer slogan = Try Cera Hops 😁

2018-12-08 07:01:35 +0000 UTCThe house looks amazing! It's definitely been worth the wait. Thank you for sharing this with us.

2018-12-08 05:48:23 +0000 UTCOMG your is GORGEOUS! Thank you for showing us. Your bedroom and bathroom are incredible, I’d love a tub and shower that big. You both have so much to be proud of! Look what you made! ❤️❤️

2018-12-08 05:26:37 +0000 UTCCongrats on a beautiful and successful renovation! I finally got a close up of the mind blowing wall window door that made me pause the Rank King Fruit video!
Valerie Brown
2018-12-08 05:22:33 +0000 UTCWow they changed it so much I could hardly wrap my head around it. The only time I saw a sameness between the before and after was when they showed the outside deck. Good for them putting in the work to build a dream home because buying one ready made I'm guessing was prohibitively expensive. The only thing I would've liked is if at the end there was an appraisal to see how much their renovation improved the market value of the house.. If getting into exact $ values seemed too personal, a percentage would have been fine. Congrats Fulmer Family!

2018-12-08 04:48:58 +0000 UTCSandra, You’re right... privileged is a much better term.
Whitney Youngren
2018-12-08 04:04:11 +0000 UTCDon't disagree. It's a gorgeous house and I love what they did with it. I admire Ned and Ariel for how much they've managed to accomplish this year. And, it felt a little tone deaf. I wouldn't say elitist, more privileged. Maybe follow up with a Habitat for Humanity video or something that showcases the housing crisis? Simulate spending a night in a homeless shelter or a poorly maintained crappy apartment? ETA: I don't mean to sound like I'm not Happy for them. I really am! I bought my first house this year, though, and it really brought home for me how much I was able to do something that a lot of people can't and won't be able to. ETA Again: Apologies to Ned and Ariel if I hurt your feelings. I'm very glad you have a home you love and that you did such a fantastic job on.
Sandra Seaman
2018-12-08 01:53:56 +0000 UTCI’m happy that The Try Guys are doing well, but you guys are normally really great about focusing on social issues. This video does nothing to highlight the housing crisis currently occurring in many places like Southern California. With many suffering from housing insecurity due to a lack of affordable housing options, this video is a bit tone deaf. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.latimes.com/business/hiltzik/la-fi-hiltzik-housing-crisis-20180330-story.html%3foutputType=amp I get that Ned is excited about his house, but this makes him appear elitist af.
Whitney Youngren
2018-12-08 01:46:35 +0000 UTCWow it looks amazing! The master bedroom looks like its own little apartment, and I'm with Ariel: the Spanish tiling is GORGEOUS. My fave part is all the natural light, it makes the space look huge!
Michelle Payne
2018-12-08 01:42:51 +0000 UTCBeautiful! The whole house is stunning, but for some reason my WOW moment was when you showed the sitting area in the Master bedroom. So fancy!
Emily
2018-12-08 00:23:26 +0000 UTCFirst of all, NEW MERCH! It has barely been a month since you guys launched your merch, and now y'all are gonna have new stuff? You're all on a roll! Second, you three have such a beautiful house, Ned, Ariel, and Wes! It's impressive that you two showed the process of designing/planning/constructing the house itself. When Ariel announced on an Instagram post that you guys were gonna have a house tour, I was expecting it to be similar to most house tour videos wherein they talk about the background of the house a little bit and then center the rest of the video on the end product (furnished or not). This video got unexpectedly technical and specific and I love it.
Riane Sontillano
2018-12-07 23:14:24 +0000 UTCThe whole house is aMAZING! The design is beautiful and open and bright! I gotta say my favourite part would have to be the master bedroom. Having a little sitting area in your bedroom is a fantastic idea. Your whole video has really inspired me to think about doing something similar in my own life. I'll show this to my husband to plant the seed now, to maybe do something like this in the future too!
Bronwyn Meehan
2018-12-07 22:58:30 +0000 UTCI love this so much. I think my favorite part might be that gigantic shelf in the living room. So many possibilities! I also love all the marble. the painting over the fireplace, the giant door, everything about the master bath (I want a double shower!) and the simple but gorgeous deck. What a great endeavor!
Laurie Swenson
2018-12-07 22:56:38 +0000 UTCI love it, it’s absolutely gorgeous! Great job!!!😻
Eileen
2018-12-07 22:48:38 +0000 UTCGotta hand it to you, starting a new company + getting a new house + renovating said house + baby being born, all within the same year? I would not have stayed in one piece lol.

2018-12-07 22:25:51 +0000 UTCLooks amazing guys!! Nice work!! Many happy years there as your family grows. Is it wrong that my first thought after Ariel sprawls on the island stating "we love the island" is wondering if they christened it? 🙊
Pamela Warren
2018-12-07 22:18:54 +0000 UTCThis is honestly better than most fixer upper shows. First of all, the editing was so good. I loved the split screen with the blueprint that lead us through the construction. I seamlessly got the passage of time and progress, which sometimes I find those shows will make it seem like they did more work than possible in the time given. As for the house itself, like that master bedroom was more than a stunning transformation. It feels like you made that whole space your own. Congrats guys.
Chelsea
2018-12-07 21:43:40 +0000 UTCSo much work went into this house and it shows! Y'all did a great job!! It is so beautiful and well designed
Mallory Ashwander
2018-12-07 21:08:52 +0000 UTCThe outside decking area looks like a great spot to chill out on summer evenings and the master bedroom is so, so spacious. I love how bright and fresh everything looks, great idea keeping to a neutral color for the walls, it makes the colors, designs and tiles really stand out throughout the house. All i could think of when you guys were describing working on the decking and Ariel going into labor was .... 'If you build it, he will come' .... HaHa :) Wishing you many years of happiness in your new home x
Lynn Naughton
2018-12-07 20:55:02 +0000 UTCDouble shower heads! Everything looks amazing but that is a nice touch that many people wouldn't think to do.
Jessica Bourdon
2018-12-07 20:33:59 +0000 UTCTwo shower heads. Fucking brilliant.
Jennifer Shouse-Klassen
2018-12-07 19:48:16 +0000 UTCSo considering the condition of the walls beforehand. The sheetrock, mud, and finish trim work is really nice. Did yall install the base over the new tile yourselves?
Joey Piccione
2018-12-07 19:40:18 +0000 UTCHoly SHEEEEYIT you guys did an INCREDIBLE job!! I'm sure the process was long and arduous and torturous, but f*ck me did you ever pull it off. I love that you have all of this documented for Wes, too. Congratulations, you guys. You deserve all the happiness and amazing HGTV houses ever.
Christine Adriana -- Nurse Joy
2018-12-07 19:23:03 +0000 UTCThe entry bookshelf, the kitchen and the master bedroom 😍😍😍
Hayley
2018-12-07 19:06:32 +0000 UTCYou guys are so cute. :') The house looks absolutely gorgeous. Ariel is so talented! I would trust her to design my own house...that I don't have, but you know, a girl can dream. XD Seriously though, I don't think I can pick just one thing that I like the most. Maybe the bathrooms? Or the kitchen? But I also think the master bedroom is really nice. IT'S ALL GREAT. A++ job, you guys!
Melissa Shaw
2018-12-07 18:59:55 +0000 UTCOh my god, Ariel is SO TALENTED. Ned you're fine, too. But ARIEL.
Natalie Koch
2018-12-07 18:45:46 +0000 UTCLove it! Love everything about it!

2018-12-07 18:44:45 +0000 UTCi love that Bean just crashed on the couch the whole time. Normally he's running around!

2018-12-07 18:35:19 +0000 UTCI LOVE LOVE LOVE the kitchen. That is literally my dream kitchen! Did you use quartz for the countertops?
Katelyn Young
2018-12-07 18:23:06 +0000 UTCAw, I just loved you guys interacting, your enthusiasm for your new house and the life you’re building together. It was so heartwarming and sweet all the way through. That’s my favourite part - how much you guys were beaming at the end. I do love all of it, but the bedroom with the huge four poster bed and the walk-in wardrobe are goals, for sure. The little seating area was so cute, too.
Zoe Kay
2018-12-07 18:19:15 +0000 UTCLol our installers HATE herringbone. lol There are some great chevron tiles out there too that give you a similar look. We have a wood look chevron that I am also in love with.
Meghan Herrera
2018-12-07 18:18:53 +0000 UTCIt sounds silly but I love the white wall color! I also love the floor tile. We have it in our design show room and I am always trying to get someone to use it. lol It looks fantastic Ariel is a wonderful designer and Ned is a great helper!
Meghan Herrera
2018-12-07 18:13:58 +0000 UTCI love the island with the marble counter tops and waterfall style/finish. The bathrooms look amazing but that herringbone in the guest shower must have been a pain in the butt to do. Our family business does flips so I can tell you all the frustrations you went through we have experienced especially those annoying little finishes that aren't quite right.
Amanda Cohen
2018-12-07 17:55:24 +0000 UTCOMG--I love it all, but I have to say the kitchen is amazing!!! You never know how much cupboard space you need until you don't have it. And that book shelf in the living room!!! :)
Darkhorse3211
2018-12-07 17:08:39 +0000 UTCThat entryway bookshelf is absolutely stunning. You guys did great, I wish my house looked like that.

2018-12-07 17:08:27 +0000 UTCKitchen islands are the best thing in the world and I'm impressed with what a lovely job you did at a fraction of the cost! I also absolutely love your deck and how much it represents your family, new and old. I hope y'all have many happy years here!
