I actually felt this video so much. Iโm not into babies a lot and because Iโm a woman at a baby-having age it basically is expected of me to go all crazy when encountering one. Honestly, I just really want a dog and two cats. One of my best friend is pregnant and I think sheโs gonna ask me to become godmother and Iโm already picturing myself being all Eugene-ish.

2018-11-14 07:24:02 +0000 UTCthis was sweet. i knew eugene would do well. he is a perfectionist and tries so hard at everything. i thought he did a good job of taking care og wes and also being sweet and fun for him. its always scary at the beginning, and babysitting is extra hard because you dont know them as well and arent used to how they show their needs or what they like. i think that eugene would be a good dad if he ever decided to take that on.

It must be difficult to both be working parents, but Wes looks healthy and adorable! I also found it funny that Ned used a lot of Scientific concepts when trying to explain what the baby needs and why he was acting the way he does, while Ariel just straight up said what you need to do ๐ It was very interesting to hear both of them! I feel like I understand my baby sister more. If you wanted to, you could add some facts about babies and how to take care of them in the video! Either way, the video is great!

Uncle Eugene is a badass and youโre going to teach Wes how to dress from here on out. Iโm so impressed with how you just got in there and figured out what he needed and handled it like a boss. I wouldn't say he was relaxed, but he was less "on point" than usual since he was in an unfamiliar situation and had to sometimes wing it. It reminded me a little of when he had to talk with little kids as Santa, which was adorable. He was cool with young Wes.

He was way more calm then I thought he would be, doing frustrating things like putting an over tired baby to sleep. Also, I dont know if anyone told Eugene but, its okay to put a baby down, on a safe place like the floor (which they cant fall off of) or crib while you go get things, lol. If they cry while your doing stuff its okay. it doesn't hurt a baby to cry. Lastly, I like to thank Wes for being the guinea pig baby for Eugene to practice care taking on. I love this!!!! Cant wait for the next try guys baby!!!!

But thefact that he wasn't screaming the whole time because you aren't his parents is amazing. You did a great job for someone whos never watched a kid before.

Babies cry! Of course everyone knows that, but it can feel like every time your baby cries and you can't "fix it" that you're a failure. All you can do is try your best. Would love to see some resources for stressed parents in the episode notes - e.g., stuff to help dads avoid shaking their babies, PPD support for moms, etc.
