If you asked me what I thought about this episode if I hadn't watched it in a while I'd say something like "very very good, 8.5, 8 6, solid B+ to A-, whatever" and then I watch it and am like "Damn is this one of my top 5 favourite episode of TV? Graduation Day 1& 2, Best of Both Worlds 1&2, War Stories, and this. " That's some top shelf company but jeepers it's just really excellent. Her own questionable morals aside I adore Adele's character so much. Speaking of adoring, your reaction was so enjoyable. Seeing the clear emotions this episode sent you through was just very sweet and real. Keep being you, D.
Preaching to the Horse's Mouth
2025-08-31 20:08:38 +0000 UTCI think of this episode all the time. Even when I'm not thinking of dollhouse at all. It was that poignant. I also like when rapists die, so naturally I love that Priya gets to take him out. I love that Topher is forced to live with the reality of his actions and their consequences, finally. Finally he realizes that these aren't dolls, these are real people, with real lives, and he isn't necessarily some saviour to them or some messiah who gets to modify them and play with them consequence free. It's unfortunate that it took something so massively consequential for him to understand that, but something is better than nothing in this case.
