I appreciate the thought behind the philosophical conversations & the parallels between The Doctor & Lazarus. Unfortunately it feels like just service level stuff because of how little on-screen time Lazarus as not a CGI abomination. Overall this episode is still better than the worst of last series. I wouldn't even say it's bad. Just kind of eh.

By this point in Series 1 Jackie had already been in twice as many episodes with probably 10 times as much screen time overall. It's easy to understand parental concern. Watching it though it feels incredibly hollow because we know The Doctor is a good guy & we haven't seen enough of Francine to care otherwise what she thinks.
