Sorry to hear about real life hitting you, take as long as you need! As for this idea of yours... honestly, I myself don't have an OC but if I did have one I'd certainly love to see her brought to life in your art style (as it is my favorite) but I don't think other people would appreciate paying (as a patreon) for a character they have no attachments to. So my suggestion is to offer commissions for those who want their OC made in your art style. You could charge differently depending on the difficulty of the OC (such as the size of the "canvas" required and the background wanted) and whether or not the OC is a static picture or animated.

I personally don't care for OC's. I love seeing all these well known cuties I've fallen in love with in your unique style. You bring them to life in ways that are very pleasing to the eyes. It'd lose the magic for me seeing some random OC I have no attachment towards.

But everyone draws Eeveelutions and Pokemon in general already! It's too typical, even if Camotli does them very well. You're saying you wouldn't even want to see anything of Camotli's own characters? I mean, c'mon, he's got a fox who paints magic curse cards and has a name that literally means "carnal love" (Aetaluta), she's rife with potential to be loved - if Camotli does more with her, at least. Pure fanart of mainstream stuff can get boring after a while. I'd like to see more originality, or if it's existing franchise stuff, more obscure works that get repeatedly overshadowed by the mainstream.

How many times have I suggested that you make animations of your own Conee (blue bunny) and Aetaluta (fox)? I've always been itching for more OC content! If anything, seeing the same mainstream characters drawn all the time just kinda shows everyone's relatively boring tastes. At least pick some more obscure franchises to spread the love a little, you know? OCs are a great way to mix it up a bit, and no, I don't mean palette-swapped fan characters, but original designs, hence why I make a hard distinction between OCs and FCs. Hell, I'll even contribute some of my own characters if you wanna try something with 'em! That said, I can understand everyone else's concerns about potentially not getting picked... it's tricky when you have a huge audience.

I am not a fan of OCs as Patreon rewards - I have no problem with them as commissions, but the big issue with OCs is that they are generally super-specialized characters which cater specifically to one person. This means they often do not have much mass appeal, plus the vast majority of people will not have any emotional attachment as it is an unfamiliar character. If you do OCs, I would suggest that it either be extremely rare (perhaps once a year?) and the OC would be chosen via lottery so that one person's OC is not prioritized over someone else, OR have OCs be done as separate individual commissions only. That way, the majority of your patrons do not feel excluded, and people who are not interested in OCs would not feel obligated to donate/contribute

Hell i'd pay to see my OC in Camotli's animation style XD However, I'd have to agree with some of the others where it *could* create issues (drama over OC's not being picked), or simply just bad designs. If you were to open up for animating OC's I'd have to put it for private commissions that could be shared through your patreon rather than a poll system. I voted yes though just because i wanna see my renaboi lewded XD Also, your work is amazing and worth every bit of the wait. So dont worry too much if you need to handle life first! Thats why we all support you! :3

I don’t like OC’s unless they’re handled properly. Most original characters are tasteless or boringly designed. Others are way over the top ridiculous. Some can be good but it’s way too risky and could present a lot of problems.

In my opinion you will always find people interested for this ! If you find this entertaining, even for yourself (you're the one doing it after all !) then you have all my support ! Both methods for selecting the winner (vote or random choice) have their pros and cons, but the safest way is still a multiple choice vote, in my mind ! Still, this is ambitious ! :3

A very ambitious idea, Camotli. However, I must say no simply because all of the best waifus are more common characters. It takes you a very long time to create your masterpieces and I'd much rather you bring my Flareon waifu to life, as opposed to some random guy's sonichu recolor . No offence to my patreon brethren, of course, it's just hard to stay excited for an unfamiliar character.

I think as long as you are a Patron you can participace, i imagine it can be like an event, a "tournament" of ocs decided by polls, i can present a small amount of ocs to vote for on each poll (that way people can vote not only for their character, but for their favorite of that poll), and the winners of each poll will advance until there is a definitive winner.

for this to work, there should be some kind of time between each idea of this kind, for example, doing a giveaway where people post all there ref and such and where Camotli would give a number, or directly choose the one that look interesting, the delay between each kind of this should be several months in my opinion

I like the idea, but how would that work? Would there be another level people would have to pay for? Would you just accept peoples ocs to vote for? And if so, wouldnt everyone just vote for themselves?
