My mom actually just rewatched all of VM and every time the theme would come on for season 3 I'd receive a text about how much she hated it. lol. Watching you go from pure excitement and ready to dance to WTF is happening was fun. Also my first car was a Saturn from the 90s! It was the best fricken car ever. I miss it dearly. My second and current car is a Saturn from the 2000s. It's crap. You'll see Saturns in a lot of early 2000s American TV shows. It's like they spent all their money on advertising and not into making good cars anymore and now they are non existent. But Veronica's sure is pretty. lol.

It barely made the cut for the new network and it did so with the caveat that they needed to make some adjustments to make the show accessible for new viewers. If certain things feel different, that's largely why. That said, the new intro was mostly just Rob Thomas taking advantage of the fresh start and doing the more "mature, HBO-esque" intro he always wanted. Your reaction was all of us lol.
