I absolutely loved the hot dad montage 🤣🤣 I forget how much I love that movie and the food fight scene! The baseball scene in the beginning is prob top favorite though lol.

The Oracle Witch

thats fair i think youre right its very cohesive! i still cant quite pick a fave season yet i think i like them both for different reasons!

ohhh VERY interesting tidbit about meg being a fan fave and you're right i dunno if i connected to her in that way! but thinking back about the season - that would make total sense as a way to pull you in emotionally. and totally agree about veronica! and honestly super good point about the dick thing omg hadn't thought about that! i cannot WAIT for season 3!! let go!!

It's funny because I think that within the show had it not been the rich kids following behind the bus, they would've focused more on who was in that limo. The 2nd season is my favorite because I feel it is a bit more cohesive.

Little Giant Ace

I get you on the bus crash. Worth noting, when this show was airing, Meg became a bit of a fan favorite character in S1, so I think the writers were counting on us having that emotional connection to the mystery through her until we got to know the other victims. I have noticed through your watch-throughs that you didn't seem to have the same attachment to Meg that a lot of the fandom had at the time, so it makes sense that you wouldn't feel as connected to that mystery. And yeah, I think Veronica feeling a bit more disconnected in the first half of the season was intentional. Girl was really trying to return to "normal," which in her mind meant "who I was before Lily's murder," which kinda requires a lot of denial and sticking her head in the sand with regards to reality. She had this notion in her head that if she solved the case and Lily's murderer was brought to justice, she could go back that life. And I think her realizing that that girl doesn't really exist anymore was meant to be part of her journey for the season. My biggest complaint about this season AND this show is it's treatment of Dick Casablancas. Veronica not even trying to warn Gia away from him when she asked her opinion, knowing full well that he uses roofies and encourages his little brother to rape unconscious women, felt really out of character for me. The writers seem to think we should find the character to be a harmless cad or something, and he's not harmless at all. Ultimately I love both S1 and S2 for different reasons. Just a great show. Bring on S3!

Andrea

While Season 1 is my favorite season of the show, the season 2 finale is probably my favorite episode of the show. It's a ride from start to finish with great reveals, great scenes, and great acting.

season 3 lets gooooooo

Colleen

Just got to the part where you're talking about Megs death feeling weird, and I just wanted to clear a little bit up there. I don't think she had the baby and THEN died. When Keith told her about megs death he said that a blood clot found it way to her heart, and then veronica asked about the baby and Keith said she survived. I always took that as megs went into cardiac arrest and they couldn't save her but they performed an emergency c-section and saved the baby. Been loving your Veronica reactions as it's my second favourite show after Buffy and I'm so interested to see what you'll react to next seeing as you're currently running down the list of all my favourite shows xD Back to the video!
