I really love season 5. The fish out of water, belly of the beast stuff with the team working at Wolfram and Hart is just such a fun change for me. I love it

2024-05-12 02:46:03 +0000 UTCI did a quick scan through and Doyle and Spike do directly interact, even talk to one another a few times, but in my very quick run through, I did not hear them ever use Doyle's name in front of/with Spike. So he'd know him visually, but not by name. I'm relieved about that, because if the writer's had forgotten something like that I would be incredibly disheartened.

2024-05-11 07:38:07 +0000 UTCYay! I love this episode so much! If I remember correctly part of the reason for it was that David hurt his back and couldn't film normally. IDK how that worked with directing though. It's been ages since I listened to the commentary for this one. This episode had lots of nuggets in it though!! I was actually talking about this episode with someone who hasn't watched Angel in maybe a decade or more, but they said, "Thank you, Bear," to show they recalled it, because it's just so fun and memorable! You got you wish, both a funny episode, but with LOADS of Lindsey stuff! Even a small tattoo tour! lol. It *was* just like the pilot! I can't recall if Spike and Doyle had any direct contact on the cross over episode. I feel like he should've remembered Doyle, but maybe he didn't know his name? I should rewatch that episode and find out for sure. I am so excited for the next several episodes!! This disc on the DVDs was potentially my favourite. I even made a painting based off the next episode! Eeek! I'm pumped!
