The terms are "Oedipus Complex" for a boy sexualizing his mother, and "Elektra Complex" for a girl sexualizing her father. As far as I know, there's no term for someone having a same-sex attraction to a parent, but I'm just going to file all permutations of this dynamic under "icky."

I forget the name but the name version is odephus or something lol where people sexualize their parents or seek those like their parents. Imo this is what connor does. Cordy isnt his mom but she is mom adjacent. Pair with his previous hate of angel, its def what he would do. But Cordy on other hand, its wrong and she has to know that. She has to know it effin gross and she is sleeping with essentially a child. You hear stories all the time from guys saying an older woman was their first and it seriously grosses me out how many women are also predators. Im pretty sure the cast had said how much it wigged them out and they didnt like it. Sometimes I think Joss hates women and then you see he just hates everyone lol. Brilliant guy but a complete ass. I like how she makes a point of saying he’s 18 earlier in the episode. Like how do they know, was Holtz tracking the 365 day calendar in quortoth? You think that you didn’t like Cordy and Connor sleeping together, you know who else wasn’t a fan, Charisma Carpenter. lol. Here’s the thing though, season 4 has so many great storylines and things but a lot of fans hate it overall pretty strictly for the Connor/Cordy thing. If you can kind of just get past that, there’s a lot of excellent stuff.
