Oh and for the first time while watching I had this random thought about how embarrassing it would have been to Connor if he misjudged the distance between those alley vamps and did just a random air split and I started giggling.

2023-12-15 18:14:28 +0000 UTCPerfect use of Yzma clip. Wesley is so funny in this episode. I love current Wesley but I kind of miss goofy Wesley too. That “I had my throat cut and my friends abandoned me” line is one of the most memorable Angel lines for me - devastating (even though yes he really really should have talked to someone).

I really like when they tell Angel he doesn't sound Irish, because it's a running joke that David Boreanaz's Irish accent is terrible. I used to hate Connor too much to appreciate it, but I really love the line, "This is my bad mood." They made him seem a bit more bad ass in this episode, but poor kid can't catch a break. "I'm invisible!" "No, you're not." Ha ha! Wes or Gunn would have caught that. He's lucky he was with Cordy. And then of course Cordy repeating the same thing she said the first time she ever saw Angel, "Hello, salty goodness." Ah! There's too many fun moments. I've been waiting for this one for what feels like forever! <3 "Memories Light the corners of my mind Misty watercolor memories Of the way we were" As was pointed out on Discord, even Lorne's song choice is a call back, and I can only ever hear Harmony singing it in my head. lol.
