2022-08-31 01:00:03 +0000 UTCYeah we actually get to see her in a normal environment. Season 1 and 4 were her starting school again, season 2 was dealing with trauma from killing the master, and season 3 was her running away. This episode is like- she's having fun on the beach? Whaat?? :D

It shows Buffy's daily slayer life, really fun interactions between all of the characters, and has some fun vampire cheese. A very solid all-rounder :) That scene with Giles and Buffy at the end always gets me. I love how you just threw the tissues behind your shoulder :D I love season 5 and am excited for you to see it!

I mean, don't get me wrong, I also like the season premieres in which she's dealing with the trauma of the preceding finale (like in seasons two and three), but this makes for a refreshing change haha

I wouldn't like it if they did this kind of thing all the time but they really seemed to like pushing the envelope and experimenting with different things and Camp is a legitimate style. Theyโre just scanning them to have on a hard drive somewhere. It was a funny little window of time, when the โcomputer ageโ was in full swing but cloud computing hadnโt happened yet, so you digitized all your documents and kept them on an external hard drive.
